I stayed in the campground in a charming little cabin. They bent over backwards to give me great service even though I wasn't staying in the priceyer lodge, the grounds were beautiful, I had a great massage after doing the ATM tour, and the beds were really comfortable. One of the highlights of my trip was listening to the night...

My family and I stayed at Chaa Creek in March 2015. First of all, the property is beautiful and surrounded by pristine jungle. At night you can hear some howler monkeys sometimes. We stayed for four nights after a week on Ambergris Caye, and I recommend that type of itinerary for any traveller. Relaxing on the beach and then heading...

I cannot say enough great things about Chaa Creek Resort! Myself and three others stayed at the Macal River camp for 3 nights and 4 days and loved every minute of it. From the time we checked in until the we left we were treated like royalty. Dosio and his family at the Macal River Camp were nothing but accommodating;...

Our family stay at Chaa Creek was truly amazing. We stayed in a riverside cottage, which was a very large room divided into two areas with two beds, a porch with hot tub and a massive bathroom. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the bath had two sinks so no issues with over-crowding. The food was...

Have stayed in a number of room options here over the years, from the Macal River camp to luxury rooms. Had an excellent retreat as a solo person in between two business meetings on one occasion in which I stayed 5 days in the most luxurious accommodations. Have also visited with family and as a romantic destination. The grounds are...

This is a luxury location. The cottages, gardens, facilities, pool, staff and food are all top class. Difficult to find fault! The hotel offers many tours (Maya temples, for example - a good base to see Tikal) and local activities (canoeing, horse riding, etc) plus on-site massages etc.
