Nestled in the heart of Rodney Bay, Coco Palm Hotel is lauded for its prime position, with guests enjoying easy beach access and proximity to local shopping and dining. The amenities, including a large pool and varied breakfast options, are popular among travelers, as is the hotel's vibrant atmosphere, especially with live music on weekends. While the rooms are spacious and consistently praised for their cleanliness, some guests have noted that certain areas could benefit from updates. Though the service is generally warm and commendable, especially from the restaurant and bar staff, there have been occasional remarks about slower service. Overall, Coco Palm's value is perceived differently, with some guests appreciating the food portions and inclusive packages, while others are less impressed with the pricing and additional costs.

We were happy with our choice to stay at Coco Palm. We stayed in the pool front room that was furthest from the bar/restaurant, so with the AC going, there was very little noise. We found the staff to be courteous and responsive, though not overly warm. It was nice to be able to walk to a pretty beach and to the nearby restaurants, especially KeeBee's, which was much more affordable (yet not as elegant) as the hotel restaurant. We emailed the hotel ahead of time about an airport transfer and they responded very quickly. However, we decided to use a local tour guide instead as he was a bit cheaper and we were touring with him the following couple days. The room was what I'd call a standard size; the wifi was a bit weak, as we were the last room and the overhead shower head didn't seem to spray evenly. We were surprised there weren't screens on the sliding doors, as we did squish about 10 mosquitos in the room.
The mattress was very firm, which we liked. Housekeeping left us plenty of Nescafe and toiletries were ample.

Dear toomuchresearch, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback! We’re so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Coco Palm and would choose us again. It's great to know that the pool-front room provided a quiet and relaxing experience, and that the beach and nearby restaurants, especially KeeBee’s, were convenient and enjoyable for you. We truly appreciate your comments about our staff, and we’ll certainly work on enhancing the warmth of our service to make sure all guests feel even more welcomed. We're also glad that the airport transfer arrangements were efficient, even though you chose to go with a local tour guide for the remainder of your trip. Thank you for bringing up the weak WiFi and shower issues—we’ll definitely look into improving the connectivity and addressing the shower head for future stays. Regarding the mosquitos, we apologize for the inconvenience; we will explore ways to improve this aspect as well. We hope to welcome you back soon for another great stay! Warm regards, Coco Palm Team

Coco Palm is the best hotel that we have stayed in, better than well known 5* resorts. The staff are absolutely lovely. Really friendly and made our stay very relaxing. We had a garden view suit which was very spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious, as well as the drinks. 5 minute walk to Reduit Beach, probably the best on the island. The back of the hotel goes straight out in to the main shopping road of Rodney Bay. Would definitely recommend, and stay again.

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful feedback! It truly made our day to hear that Coco Palm stands out as your favorite hotel, even compared to other 5-star resorts. We’re delighted you enjoyed the comfort of your garden-view suite and found our team welcoming—they really love making every guest feel at home. It sounds like you got to enjoy the best of both worlds: our delicious food and drinks, and the unbeatable location just steps from Reduit Beach and Rodney Bay’s vibrant shopping area. Thank you again for recommending us, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for another relaxing stay!

We booked to stay at Coco Palm as we were in St Lucia for the annual Jazz Festival.

We arrived early evening at the hotel and were greeted with a welcome drink of rum punch. Our check-in was quick and easy and our luggage was taken to our room by the ever so helpful and friendly front of house staff, Vincent.

We had a patio pool view room, which was newly decorated, clean and fresh. When we opened our patio door we were just a few steps away from the amazing pool.

Our room was cleaned every day and beach towels were available from reception whenever we needed them.

We found the majority of staff to be very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, the bar staff and the security guards.

This is a great hotel to stay as it is right in the heart of the entertainment strip. The music from the clubs did not really bother us as the music stopped at 2am. Considering the location of the hotel, we found it to be very peaceful and tranquil.

We would definitely stay at Coco Palm in the future.

We booked a king swim up room, which is what our confirmation noted. We were put in an accessible double room. They tried to make it up to us by offering the all inclusive package but part of our choice for this location was access to outside restaurants. The hotel food was ok, not great. The breakfast buffet is organized all wrong so those waiting for eggs prevented others from getting to the buffet. They need two people doing eggs and need to move it to the other end. The staff were all nice and helpful. The bartenders were nice to talk to, to learn about how they mix their drinks.

The room was awkward. The reading lights above the bed have to be turned on and off by the door. The accessible shower let water onto the bathroom floor. There was no night light in the bathroom so you have to turn on the overhead bright light. Overall not a calming experience.

Dear tlchilds, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t up to expectations. We understand the mix-up with your room was disappointing, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. While we tried to make up for it with the all-inclusive offer, we understand that access to outside restaurants was an important part of your choice. We also value your comments about the breakfast buffet and the room setup. We’ll certainly look into improving the flow for the breakfast station and address the issues with the shower and bathroom lighting to ensure a more comfortable stay for our guests. On a positive note, we’re glad you enjoyed the service from our team, especially the bartenders. We’ll continue to work on improving the overall guest experience. Thanks again for your feedback, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future. Best regards, Coco Palm Team

Had the pleasure of staying at Coco palm for 10 days - from end July to 11th August with my family, my sister in law and her family and my mother and father in law. Travelling from London the flight was long and the journey from the airport long so we were exhausted when we arrived at about 8pm.
The beautiful Carlene was on the desk and was patient and polite as checked in our party which consisted of 6 adults and 2 children. She even promised she wouldn't take long when I asked if our intro to the hotel could be done the next day - she was right! We had a suite and the room was lovely, spacious and clean and with lovely views of the pool.
Under the all inclusive package we had lovely meals at Ti Banane restaurant - buffet breakfast and al la carte lunches and dinners with huge portions!
Carlene was also on hand to help arrange an excursion for all of us to the south of the island, we visited sulphur springs, diamond falls and the Hotel Chocolat farm for a tour where we even made our own chocolate!
The hotel is in close proximity to duty free shopping malls and Reduit Beach and is short taxi ride away from the Gros Ilet Friday night street party, splash island and pigeon island.
The hotel staff from check in, security, housekeepers, bar staff and restaurant staff were all really friendly and welcoming which only enhanced our time there. Even the pool guy was nice and friendly accommodating my son who wanted to get in the pool before he'd finished fishing out the leaves every morning!
Staying at Coco Palm made our stay in St Lucia amazing and being there when Julien Alfred won the Islands first Olympic gold medal was the cherry on top!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience at Coco Palm! It sounds like you and your family had an incredible time exploring St. Lucia. You are correct in highlighting what a long trip it is from door to door from the UK and our Team have been made aware the one thing you want on arrival is your room! From the warm welcome by Carlene to the spacious accommodations and delicious meals at Ti Banane, it seems like every detail contributed to a memorable vacation. The excursions you mentioned, especially the chocolate-making tour, sound like a fantastic way to immerse yourselves in the local culture! It's great to hear that the staff made such a positive impact on your stay, making you feel right at home. Witnessing Julien Alfred's historic Olympic win must have been an unforgettable highlight! It was certainly a historic day for Saint Lucia! Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review which will surely inspire other families looking for a child-friendly holiday spot.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Not the sort of hotel we would normally choose as it was an add on to flights booked through Trailfinders as part of a longer independently booked trip.
It was definitely the staff that made this hotel special - always friendly and keen to help.
The food was good with some local options to choose. We had a special offer that included breakfast and lunch which meant we didn’t need an evening meal.
Breakfast also good with delicious omelettes cooked to order, delicious granola (often FAR too sweet in hotels) and a good selection of fruit.
Very spacious rooms , slightly dated but in a way this was an asset as everything was functional and non gimmicky with plenty of storage.
Our only criticism is the loud and unsuitable music (and videos) all day from the bar area. As most of the guests appear to be over 50 the music played was more for the staff than guests I think. Most guests found a spot as far from the bar area as possible outside meal times.
You may want to choose a room away from this area too.
East walking distance to the beach and shops. Also easy to catch bus or taxi to other destinations- staff happy to advise on this.
We would definitely return here.

Wonderful relaxing holiday. The pool is perfect. All food is delicious and prepared fresh when ordered. So don’t moan about slow service your on holiday and drinks a plenty are available. Our room faced the pool really comfortable but a close nightclub plays locally so light sleepers need garden rooms. Staff are great local taxi trips a lot cheaper so we shared with other guests & had great fun. So much to see. The roads are very lively and fast so I would skip any idea of a hire car.

Our stay at Coco Palm resort was wonderful! This is a great place for families! From the check in desk, to dining, to the maid service and the groundskeepers, the staff is absolutely amazing! They are always will to help and go out of their way. We stayed in the garden patio room and it was very clean and spacious. Towels were always replaced and beds were made everyday. The pool was the perfect temperature and kept very clean. While not directly on the beach, it was only a 3-4 minute walk to Reduit. The location is central to all the grocery store, restaurants and beach activities in and around Rodney Bay. Breakfast is included when you book. Although the restaurant is good I would pass on the all inclusive package as there are plenty of other dining options to try that are within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here!

My stay here was great, no complaints! The location is convenient- right in the heart of Rodney Bay Village, walking distance to restaurants, bars, lounges and duty-free shopping. The room was clean and comfortable, everything needed for a relaxing stay.

Breakfast every morning was excellent, with a wide variety of options available. Dined at the on-site restaurant on my birthday and the table was decorated, birthday dessert plate after the meal, Thank you to all the ladies who sang happy birthday and provided great service throughout dinner!!

Poolside was another favorite, Friendly staff and warm hospitality left a lasting impression, definitely had a great birthday trip while staying at Coco Palm.

I really wanted this to be a 10/10 review because this hotel has so much potential. We are just back from a 12 day stay here and unfortunately, I don't think I'd recommend it in terms of value for money. The hotel itself is very close to the beach and the rooms are absolutely beautiful while the accommodation staff are superb. However, we consistently had to put up with excruciatingly slow service in the bar/restaurant. We splashed out for the all inclusive and, to be honest, it feels like this hotel takes advantage of the fact that people have already paid for that package on arrival because it's impossible to get service, particularly from the bar. It was a regular occurrence, across all meals, to have finished our food (which was delicious) before our drinks arrived. Trying to get the attention of staff was impossible and even if you did manage to get an order in, there was no guarantee you would get your drinks and you will have to follow up twice, if not three times. Staff attitude was not great. We were always very happy to see when Darren was on duty in the restaurant as things ran much smoother. Rakeem was also super attentive and friendly. Breakfast was quite messy when the female supervisor was on. If you weren't down before 7.30am, you could expect to have no table setting/water/coffee. One morning there wasn't even any plates to get our food from the buffet and there was never any urgency from her to get it sorted. All-in-all I think it's problematic if you've paid in advance for an all-inclusive experience and you don't get it. If you're hoping to sip on cocktails by the pool for the day, I'd suggest looking elsewhere because they do not want to give out the drinks and it led to quite a frustrating experience, and left us feeling short-changed.

Hi NeeRiada, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear that aspects of your stay, particularly the service in our bar and restaurant, didn’t meet expectations. That’s certainly not the level of hospitality we strive for, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to experience delays and inconsistency. Your feedback regarding the all-inclusive service is particularly concerning, as it’s important to us that every guest feels they’re receiving full value for their stay. We sincerely appreciate you recognizing Darren and Rakeem for their attentive service, and we’ll be sure to commend them. At the same time, we’ll be addressing the issues you mentioned with our team to ensure a more seamless and enjoyable experience for future guests. We’re glad you found the location and accommodations to your liking, but we regret that the overall experience left you feeling short-changed. Your feedback is invaluable, and we truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a stay that meets the high standards we aim for. Best, The Coco Palm Team

The pool is large and has a normal area of deeper water but there is an extensive shallow area on one side where children can paddle and parents can be on hand to watch over them. Adults and children who are non-swimmers are well-accommodated.

Probably the rooms on the lowest floor. Our room was on the first floor with the pool just outside the sliding door. We have better luck booking hotels directly with the hotel. We used the internet to choose the type of room.
