The location is fantastic. Calogero and his family very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are nice and cosy and very clean. We also had dinner here and it was good. The breakfast was a bit disappointment.

The owner and his wife tried hard but have no clue as to what it takes. The rooms were dirty with dust everywhere. Getting hot water in the shower was a challenge. torn miserable shower curtain. Mouldy corners around shower tray plus hopeless shower fittings....More

Public transport from the airport is definitely not an option! Taxi would be too costly and your best bet is a hired car I would say. We paid eur50 for 2days for a small car with thrifty which we took from Catania airport in Dec16. You would need a car to get to the parks either way.
