An excellent seal. Well worth it.

My Wife, my Mother, and Aunt booked 2 rooms. We arrived at 2 pm, and planned to check in, change and head to a Wedding for 4 pm.
When we pulled into the parking lot, the building and grounds were nothing like the pictures you will find on any of the booking sites.
We walked inside to the office area. No one was there. We rang the bell, and we were just getting ready to call the number hanging in the lobby when a man came in from the back. He was hunched over and looked half asleep. He was mumbling something about someone dying and how he was sorry. I said I couldn’t understand him and he started telling us that someone close to them had passed away and then started mumbling again about the hotel being full and he was sorry we had to wait.
We were all just looking at each other wondering what was going on.
My Mother stepped up and said we had reservations and he asked for her drivers license. He started looking on the computer and said there were 2 rooms. We all had the same feeling that something just wasn’t right, so I asked if we could please see the rooms first, and told him that the property did not match what was advertised. I told him I was concerned that the rooms may not be acceptable. After some more mumbling he allowed us to take the 2 keys as long as we left my Mothers drivers licence. We left and drove around to the other side of the hotel and couldn’t believe how horrible it looked from the outside. We parked and walked through the weeds into a porch that was rotting, with pieces of shabby carpet coming up. We separated and went inside our rooms. When I opened the door my room smelled terrible. Mold, old smoke, dogs, I. Any day for sure. The beads looked neat, but there was dirt on the carpet. The ceiling had stains all over it, some looked fresh. The bathroom was disgusting. Aside from the hard water stains in all the fixtures, the the shower wall surround was cracked in multiple spots and taped with cellophane tape, the rest was no better. The sink gross. I wouldn’t even consider using it. The room was overall just dirty and smelly. My Mother and Aunt came in and told us that our room was much nicer than there’s. We checked there’s and it was even worse. My Aunt was already having an allergic reaction and needed her puffer.
We returned to the office and my Mother and I went in.
We told the Gentleman that the rooms were just too bad, and that the property was not at all what was shown on the booking site. I told him that my Aunt couldn’t breathe and that we were not going to be able to stay.
He did the same mumbling thing and started saying something about having some suites that had been upgraded, but he couldn’t let us use them. At this point I told him that we had to leave, that there was no way we were going to stay at this property. He then said that he had some rooms in a building around the back. I told him we weren’t interested, and he told us” here’s the thing, we have the right to offer an upgrade or another option if the customer isn’t happy.” He then got up and told us to follow him out to the parking lot. My mother and I followed him, walking past our car with my Wife and Aunt in it. I kept repeating that we were not staying, but he kept motioning for us to follow him around behind the hotel. My mother, who is 80, and I decided to follow. As we went around the side of the hotel I realized that we were out of site of our car and just had a terrible feeling about what was happening. We finally made it to a point where we saw what looked like an old house. This was where he wanted us to go. Outside the house were 3 cars and bunch of people all hanging out together. I stopped and said that’s it. Turned and walked my Mother back towards our car. The guy came after us. The whole time telling me to come back and follow him. That we had to look at this option. It was getting scary. He wouldn’t stop and started getting closer, I literally had to scream at this guy to back off and leave us alone. Don’t get me wrong. He wasn’t physically aggressive, but he is extremely passively aggressive. I’m not a small guy, and I was really starting to worry.
We got in the car and left to another Hotel, and just made it to our 4 pm Wedding.
He also charged my Mothers credit card for 1 room.
There are other similar reviews, believe me, they are real. I would strongly advise that any other review is false. The County should not allow this business to operate.
Took the longest time for food to arrive after ordering, and when it did only one meal arrived and it didn't look like either of the menu items that had been ordered. The waitress called the cook (who did not appear to speak English) and after some confusion (and it seemed that we may have gotten an order for another table) the platter was taken back to the kitchen. Two platters appeared shortly thereafter, neither looking remotely like any form of Thai food either of us had ever seen or eaten before and also looking similar to the platter that had previously appeared.
My meal tasted like some sort of sweet and sour Chinese food to which spices had been added - very odd - and certainly not close to any version of Thai Green Curry that I have ever come across before. Same apparently applied to the meal my friend had. We wondered if the wrong meal had been made, and some spices were then added to correct it, or if the cook really didn't know Thai food.
When it came time to pay, the waitress (who was really nice and trying to make the best of the situation) was apparently not authorized to take credit cards and someone from the hotel was called to run the cash register/credit card reader which seemed to take the longest time to do (you wonder what happens if the place is full).
All in all, a very strange and disappointing experience.
The selection wasn't that great. All your typical basic items. The rice was barely cooked and didn't taste like Chinese fried rice at all. They had chicken balls when I went (I noticed another poster say they had none when they were there) and they tasted exactly like McDonald's chicken nuggets. The onion rings tasted like they had been sitting there all day. Egg rolls were just okay and the chow mein also did not taste like any normal chow mein. It actually had a weird taste to it. Shrimp was good but stuck to the skewer. The fish dish would have been good if it wasn't soggy. General Tso chicken and lemon chicken were okay. However, all in all it was very underwhelming and definitely not worth the money. There was absolutely no atmosphere. The place was boring, the service (for us) was seriously lacking, the selection mediocre and the food left something to be desired. Not to mention the food bar and the dessert bar are so close together that only one person can walk through at a time. My husband was very disappointed that he wasted his birthday dinner here and we will NEVER be back. We will stick to our regular take-out Chinese place in town from now on!
November 14/2014. A call earlier in the day determined that dinner would be $14.95. We arrived at 5:30 and had a short wait for a table. Once seated however and approaching the buffet we discovered most of the table was empty. It seems as though the restaurant underestimated the popularity of the grand opening, and there was a lengthy wait for the buffet to be replenished. It only got worse as our dinner progressed. Within an hour the restaurant was packed and there was a lengthy line out the door. We didn't see our waitress again to replenish our drinks or to check on us at all, tables were not being cleared and it was evident they were grossly understaffed. Our server did her best, although we could only see two waitresses actively working. The food itself was good although there was a lengthy wait. When we received our bill however, our party of four was discounted at 50% . We paid $32 for four of us taxes included. I will return to the restaurant, and the discount was a good show of faith recognizing their deficiencies. I will wait several weeks however for the hoopla to die down.
"Do not stay in the non-renovated rooms to the left of the lobby (when looking from the street) #203 was very bad!"Read full review
