I stayed in this awesome castle with my family over New Year. The castle is perched on a hill, so the views of the alps to the north is stunning. The grounds fan out around a greenhouse, guest rooms, an old hidden wine cave, and the castle. Breakfast is served in the castle kitchen, where a wood fire is burning...

My wife discovered this hotel in a travel book--our family was teasing her about "old fashioned" hotel searching instead of using the internet. Then we arrived and ate all our words! Yes, you can find this hotel on the internet, but it does not come up when searching Turin hotels. It IS a 30 minute drive from Turin, but worth...

My family and I were skeptical as we drove up the winding road to this hotel, located just outside of Turin, on the very top of a hill. We were totally surprised and in awe as we stumbled into this absolutely stunning castle; one of the owners promptly gave us a historical tour of the manicured grounds, highlighting beautiful sights...

Great service, good rooms, very helpful owners. The castle has a lot of history starting from 10th century. The current architecture is from around 17th century. Freemasons lived at some point in time in the castle and they left really a lot of interesting artifacts, if you are interested in their history you should definitely go there to see. The...

This is a fascinating villa, full of charm and atmosphere and in a peaceful panoramic setting. The owners are really happy to talk about the history of the chateau and castle which predates it, but also organise bespoke activities if you're interested: kayaking on the Po, arranging the rent of race worthy cabon cycling bikes etc. This hotel is not...

My uncle took my mother, grandmother and me to this castello for two nights while we were visiting Geneva from the states during the winter holidays. We were the only customers there and the owner (Guido) treated us like honored guests. We got a personal tour of the property and its history. The castello itself is a great combination of...

Having decided to have a nights stay in italy we happened upon a bed and breakfast in san sebastiano da po which my father had found online. We imagined it would be small and quaint. Little did we know that when we arrived we would be faced with the italian equivalent of a country manor, with around 30 rooms in...

We were welcomed into the castle ground by the Luca, an enthusiastic, charming and engaging host. We felt completely at ease as he showed us around his home and pointed out the Roman passages that he had explored as child. The gardens were lovely and extensive, with lawns, several ponds with goldfish, a green house and beautiful views from the...

This is not a typical European mainstream hotel experience - it is way beyond that! Hidden behind huge wooden doors is a remarkable castle with extensive gardens, all unspoilt with fantastic views. The rooms and bathrooms are well finished and furnished in keeping with the property, Breakfast is served ( in front of an open log fire in winter) in...

The Castello of San Sebastiano sits proudly on the Hills of the River Po, situated near to Turin it was closely tied to the Piedmont region and King's happenings. This is a region to be carefully explored and discovered since it offers hospitality and beauty in various forms: mountains, rivers, plains, hills, traditions, history of art, a vast cuisine and fine vines. Every season has something to offer its guests. The authentic is not always appreciated. How about a week-end without watching TV. No telephone in your room to disturb your relaxation. Our rooms enhance those things that are essential and dispense with those that are not. We offer you comfort and well being, in a simple manner and in keeping with the spirit of a medieval castle. There is the echo of all that has passed and what is loved here... The present is made unique and special by our guests.
