Stayed for two nights at the Lodge in a ground floor room with en-suite facilities. Staff very friendly on checking in then left us to it. Great location - maximum 5 mins from the ferry direct to Sydney which I would recommend. Nice big bed, very comfortable and good space in the room along with a fridge and safe. Sadly...

Great location, good rooms and facilities, friendly staff. The only downside was there was no airconditioning, but the room did have a fan which was good enough. A short walk to the ferry warf, where it is easy to get to circular quay in the center. A little longer walk to 'the villages' of neutral bay where there are shops...

We were given a basement room. Badly ventilated. No heating or air conditioning. Bad ventilation. Smelt of chemical and mould. Shared toilet and shower. Every time you need to visit bathroom, loud door noises due to heavy doors and auto closers. Shared kitchen superficialy clean, but build up of grease on stone feature wall showed that no deep cleaning programmme...

An excellent clean and homely accommodation facility very conveniently located to ferry transport and food outlets. This accommodation is in a quiet location with walking access to ferry services and local beach. It has shared bathroom facilities which are maintained with a high standard of cleanliness.

The hotel was comfortable, the room was adequate with a good bathroom and shower. The downstairs kitchen was clean and fine for basic meals, though some cutlery was missing. Overall the decor was quite tired and dowdy. The position was brilliant just by the ferry terminal.

As with the previous occasion I was staying here prior to a major orthopedic operation. Circumstances beyond anyone's control meant a delay and the staff made a special effort to accomodate this with great kindness and forebearance. The location is excellent for North sydney (near Royal North Shore Hospital, private), the property is clean and well run and there are...

A pleasant place to stay. A short trip by ferry to the centre of Sydney. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Clean. We stayed in a room with an ensuite, but shared bathroom is cheaper. They have a kitchen, laundry and lounge for the use of customers. Because it is a heritage building the ensuite is a little cramped, but workable. No...

Have stayed many times here. The property offers clean, breezy, large rooms, in-house full shared kitchen facilities, eat-inside or outside settings, BBQ, on-site parking (or around corner of you're late/r!), wi-fi in room, maps & info, quite and calm! Frequent ferry to city is 300 metres down road as are general store and excellent cafe for breakfast/brunch. Walk to Milson's...
