While it's praised for cleanliness and its proximity to the airport, some guests have called out the unreliable shuttle service and the staff's inconsistent attention to care. Opinions on the room's comforts are varied, with issues like malfunctioning A/C units and odors being noted, although other guests have highlighted the modern, spacious design. This is a nice, modern, upbeat hotel, formerly branded Renaissance. The rooms are modern and the bathroom shower is equipped with a rain shower head and euro style hand-held nozzle. Breakfast buffet seems pricy. Other menu selections more moderate in price. This hotel is in the midst of a large business park. The area is desolate of pedestrian traffic and not many moving passenger vehicles. The sidewalks are broken. There is trash strewn in the empty lots surrounding the hotel. There are no alternate eateries or bars. There are no retail shops. Staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and quiet. Regular shuttles to the airport are complimentary.

We stayed 1 night in the hotel due to an evening flight, in order not to hurry to our next destination. The hotel is only accessible by car or shuttle, there's no bus and you can't walk there either and that's their major disadvantage. The shuttle is once every 40mins and while they do have a schedule, they refuse to post it anywhere (I even asked for it via email upfront and they didn't give me one). Due to the tiny hotel logo, compared to the size of other branding on the car, we missed one and ended up having to wait a total of 1,5h at the airport to eventually be picked up. When we got there they gave us the schedule. The next day we went downstairs a minute before the announced departure time and the shuttle has already left. I recognize we should have been there at least 5mins earlier but also what's the point of having a schedule if you leave before the time. Overall that made for a very annoying experience, as the whole point of staying at the hotel was to be less hassle.

For that reason taxis are always waiting in front, ready to take you to the airport for 12-15€, which is what we ended up using on the way back.

Otherwise hotel itself was nice and the bed was really comfortable. We had some difficulty with the aircon due to poor UI but eventually got it to work. We liked the food in the restaurant except for the fake chicken dish, which tasted really weird. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of good options.

I'd stay there again if I have to, but would not rely on their shuttle service.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was basic and quite small, but clean, quiet and well equipped. The airport shuttle pick up at the airport only runs every 40 minutes. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and very reasonable. A glass of a decent dry white wine was only 2.50! The shuttle to the airport in the morning ran every 20 minutes. Mine was pretty full and was glad the concierge advised me to get to the bus about 10-15 minutes early. For the price, I found this hotel quite satisfactory.

I can tell you this is the best airport hotel that I have visited to date. Feature that I admired the most is the interior design of the hotel itself. Its lobby have dazzling high roof. The room has minimalist and professional vibe with black and brown mixture and wooden furnished. The amenities is complete, you can get must-have in-room facilities and it is perfect if you are in for business trip. The staff is very helpful and attentive as well. It also possesses swimming pool with factories and logistic facilities view located near the hotels. It is more than an airport hotel that you usually encounter.

This really isn’t your usual Airport hotel, this hotel is fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, and all the extras such as the gym, pool, and bar are amazing. When you check in you are given a page with everything you need to know including; shuttle bus times, room service hours, pool/gym opening hours and wifi code. Only problem we had was getting here from the airport, all local taxis have a minimum €20 fare from the airport and the hotel isn’t far away enough to cover that so quite a few taxi drivers refuse to take you, we didn’t have any info of any shuttle buses running and Uber didn’t work for us. We did end up paying €20 to get there but apart from this issue everything else was perfect. This hotel was an incredible experience and I would 100% stay here again if I have the chance.

We were one night at the hotel since we had to take an early flight the next morning. The same has did my husband a week before. We both made the booking via booking.com . He did it for a room just occupied by him and I did it for a room occupied by 3, with 3 single beds, since I made the trip with my mother and son.
By arrival we had the problem with the payment. They have an ultra modern device to pay but it is impossible to pay contactless, not with the phone or with the card. The same happened with my husband the week before. Their excuse is " is it Mastercard?" But no, we just have the all common Visa. So if you don't remember anymore the number of the card we'll I don't know how uou will pay.
Like I said the week before my husband was in the hotel and we accompanied him to the room. At his floor he had a coffee-making machine free at his disposal, as well as chips and some sweets. In his room was indicated that all of the mini bar was free and he had even a machine with coffeecups at his disposal at the room. So we thought that it was all a good level of hotel and room. Just to say that he had paid less then I paid.
So we arrived at the hotel with the same idea but at our big surprise, we didn't have anything in our mini bar. There was a note that we could go to the vending machine to buy drinks and but them in the minibar to cool them. There wasn't either at our floor, the coffeemaker available.
So you pay more but we had less. For the same type of room but only that we were 3 persons.
Oh, and I forget that my husband had also bath slippers at his disposal, which we didn't either.
Then the conductor of the bus wasn" t very sympathetic either. Your suitcases you put in yourself even that I was travelling with a child and a mother of 82. Well all very deceiving.
Lucky it was only for one night. But we won't repeat.
Good point has been the burger we ate at the terrace bar. It was delicious. But for a coca cola pay 3,30 euro and it is just a little bottle, is a bit exaggerated. In the vending machine 2 euro for 33cl.
Well an experience it has been.

Rooms are modern and seemed clean. Had I not been ill and wanting to stay in my room, this would have probably been a positive review as I was received pleasantly at checkin at 13:00 and I enjoyed working in my room. All that changed in the evening at 21:00 when I tried to order room service. I tried calling for 20 minutes but there was no answer. In the end I called reception and was told by the person on duty (Jordi) that all he can do is transfer me to the same number where they aren't picking. He explained that the reception is at the reception only and there is no way for them to contact "room service". I asked who could help me and he said there was no one. I asked whom I could escalate the matter to and he said no one. I asked for the manager on duty and he said there was no one. I asked who was in charge and he said no one. Then he suggested that perhaps the Restaurant manager oversees Room Service and I can try talking to them. He tried to connect me to him and ended up disconnecting me. So I called again. He informed me that the line to the Restaurant manager was busy so I asked for the number. I tried calling and the line was busy. For the next 15 minutes or so I kept alternating between the restaurant manager's number and the room service number but one was busy and the other was unanswered. Finally, the restaurant number rang and I was hopeful but it just kept ringing for over 3 minutes straight. By now it was 21:45 and I called Jordi at reception again and told him what had happed. I once again asked if there was anyone that could help and he confirmed that there wasn't.
I was not fit to go to the restaurant so accepted going hungry. For a 4 star hotel that charged over €220 for the night, this is not acceptable service in my view.

We chose this hotel mainly as it was fairly close to the airport and we had never visited Barcelona before. They provide a 24hr shuttle bus from the airport which is useful. The hotel is large and close to the Amazon warehouse on a working estate but the surroundings are pleasant but not a scenic area. The hotel offers a comfortable stay and not the cheapest, but a really good breakfast. It is very busy but peaceful and has a seasonal swimming pool .The rooms are good with large beds and good shower TV etc. We stayed 5 nights here and wasn't sure it was the right thing to do with the location being 10km from the City centre. But no problem as there is good public transport with a regular bus outside the hotel to the City and a good service Metro (Mas Blau) within 15mins walk. This can be done cheaply by purchasing the Halo TMB all routes travel card for the length of your stay.It works out around £7 per day each so you soon realise the value of this. We had no problem getting around and visiting everywhere we wanted. So all in all this Hotel stay worked well for us.

We are currently staying at the hotel on a Barcelona city break booked though booking.com. so far I have been very impressed. Room is great and black out curtains keep room very dark and cool. Shower great , although it does tend to leak under shower door but can be moped up with supplied towels ! We have mentioned this to reception !

Restuarant stays open till 1am and there is room service too. Food in restuarnt good and Staff polite. We have not tried breakfast.

The pool is great with towels provided and water jets and shallow areas for sitting in the water.

We asked for directions into city and we were directed to bus 65 bus stop directly to left of hotel entrance. Bus seems to run every 20 minutes and this stop is the end of the line. It does take about 35 minutes to get to Place de Espanya. From here you can get a bus or metro to anywhere. There is a information booth in place de espanol where you can buy a travel pass for all buses and metro. (16 euros for 48 hours)

Many comments on here about noise in the hotel but we have not experienced this. So far I can only say good things about the hotel. We picked it because it had a garden pool , we were worried about airplane noise but there was none !

5 out of 5 so far considering it was a good price. 👍

The blond woman wearing spectacles and with a medium length bob at the reception was unacceptably rude. She “greeted” us with a sour expression on her face, and when I told her that my passport was in my luggage but that I could give her my email booking first whilst I get my passport, she pointed her finger at me and said no passport no check in! Incredible front desk service. After I retrieved my passport from my luggage, she proceeded to inform me that my booking was for one person only. And when I asked if there was a problem, she said YES. And I asked what she meant by that. She then rudely asked for my partner’s passport. And said I had to pay extra. I had booked a room for Euros 312 for this substandard hotel. And when I made the reservation, nothing on the website indicated that there was a price difference for one or two persons. In fact, when I booked it online, I had booked the default which was for 2 persons. But when the email hotel confirmation indicated 1 person. I have no issues paying another Euros 14 for breakfast for a second person. It was the lack of courtesy which irritated me greatly and ended our otherwise wonderful holiday on a negative note.

The female receptionist even had the audacity to sneer and chuckle with her colleague when we walked away from the reception. And when we asked for room slippers a while later, she again sneered after her colleague told us that the hotel does not provide slippers for the room.

I would have given this service 0 stars if there was an option to do so. It’s a pity because the hotel is actually decent looking and the rooms are clean. The gym was also functional, mostly. Note that some of the equipment are not working.

The fridge in the room doesn’t work as well.

DO NOT STAY at this hotel unless you really cannot find another one or if it is crazy cheap. The Euros 314 spent at this hotel and on wages for the rude receptionists is not well spent at all.
