An idyllic location and such a nice, old school hotel with all the requirements. Wonderfully friendly staff. Peaceful and convenient for Strangnas's business area (which you would never know is there!) Lovely place, lovely people

Extraordinary friendly and nice small hotel. We put our guests there and they enjoy it very much. Not fancy but very nice and friendly. Also for business for people who are so tired of the large hotels.

A small cosy hotel on the lakeside, quiet location, English spoken fluently, slightly retro rooms but comfortable. Arrived after midnight, arrangements all worked, sandwich in fridge etc and key waiting for me. Very handy for the town and the boats, although Strangnas itself isn't exactly a bustling metropolis. I was visiting on business but would happily return for pleasure. Good...

This is the best B&B I have been to in Sweden. The price is good, and the Sauna is free, not as on some places that charge 100 SEK/person to use the Sauna. Comfortable beds and quiet surroundings. From the breakfast buffet you have a wonderful view over Mälaren. Newspapers are available, as well as a fast internet. Finally, the...

The staff was very friendly and service minded. The rooms are quite outdated and remind me more of what a hostel probably looks like. However the room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Location is good; right next to the water and within a short walking distance along the boardwalk to the harbour square.

Friendly staff, very cozy and comfortable rooms, with high-speed WiFi Internet connection. The breakfast is more than sufficient, with a nice coffee machine and a wonderful view to the lake, that the hotel is right on its banks. Located right next to the city center, and only 10 minutes walk from the train station.

I loved Hotell Laurentius - low-key, friendly, comfortable and quiet. It is tucked in between the beautiful cathedral and the lake, a perfect site for walking around (the air there is amazing, unpolluted, fresh and sweet-smelling with flowers all around). Nice proprietors spoke English which was very helpful as my Swedish is poor. Each room is named for a notable...

Beautiful view of the lake shore. Wonderful walking tour of a precious village as well as a meditative walk around the lake. Great place to de-stress, smell the roses and renew. Sit outside in the evening and sip a glass of wine and you watch the sun set on the water.

“Ask for a view of the lake. A generous breakfast is included--typical Swedish fare. Kitchen is upstairs.”
