Travelled with Fleetway/ Monarch on a 3 day Arctic Experience. The taster sessions were just enough and enjoyable. The Snow village trip was great. Recommend the Snowmobile ride in the evening. It is extra but we were out for 4 and a half hours and when we arrived back at the Ski slope the northern lights came out to see us...

At first disappointed with the room as very basic, soon realised that for the activities we were doing and the wearing of snow boots and snow suits, the room decor was about right. The hotel staff very friendly and accommodating, very helpful in the restaurant helped my wife with her allergy to fish. We would stay again when we arrived Lapland...

Stayed here on a Monarch/Fleetway Northern Lights Experience, the hotel is pretty basic in terms of rooms, the room decor does the job but very much 3*. The rooms can get very chilly on the ground floor especially as the window was open when we arrived in -20! The breakfast is ok, but personally i wouldn't bother paying for lunch...

Apparently there has been pets in most rooms, so any one with allergy should ask specifically for a room where no pets has been staying. According to the check-in staff they only have 3 of such rooms - and no allergy friendly rooms. So make sure to ask for one of the 3 rooms if you should suffer from allergy.

We booked a Lapland trip for three nights with Monarch. The hotel is 3 star and is what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The rooms were bland and very basic but we didn't spend much time in the room as we spent must of our time exploring. There was a sauna in the room which was lovely...

Stayed 3 nights. Staff friendly, decent location. Very pricey though. Food was basic, very basic. Rooms had little going for them & beds were like 70s camp beds. All the time spent there....I had a nagging feeling. First, I saw a little boy riding around on his bicycle and then a cranky man on a type writer. Then it hit...

Hotel very lacking in atmosphere. Hardly any staff at breakfast so don't expect to have your table quickly cleared. Breakfast ok, gives all the normal breads, cereals and luke warm cooked breakfast. Evening dinner buffet at 26 euros, worse than a 3 star Spanish half board hotel ,luke warm and unimaginative. On the plus side free plastic toboggans to use...

If you would like to be treated like a second class resident, please book a week at the Saaga in Yllas. Of course, be sure to book through Thomson / Crystal, who will really put the icing on the cake for you. I've only got time to outline one of a number of inconveniences, so here goes. We booked and...

Clean, basic, friendly, hotel. Rooms very plain, but did have a private sauna, TV, fridge, kettle, and sufficient storage - although no safe. Meals were buffet-style. My partner and I stayed half-board. The food was varied, both in variety and quality. Breakfast buffet was quite substantial, but only scrambled eggs were offered, which I think were made from powdered eggs....
