          Beautiful views (weather permitting). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Shuttle service for the Tongariro crossing was well organised. Packed lunch that they offer is probably not needed.

          Does Discovery Lodge provide transportation for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in late May? I really can't tell from their website.

          I would email them. The staff are really helpful. Find the email address on website. They won't take you on transport unless the weather is ok and they deem it safe to walk. Plus they check you have the correct clothing... More
