Not wanting to drive to far out of Cape Town, Tulbagh was the choice for our break away weekend. No request was to big or small for the fantastic team lead by Graham Hunter of Villa Tarentaal. Our room (Peacock Suite) was amazing and the extra care given to our stay has made it a destination which we will most... More

It was very tranquil and relaxing. The room (Swallow Room) was very smart and nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location was just about right. Far enough out of town to be away from everything, but close enough not to be isolated. Will visit soon again!

Hi there. We recently spent two nights at VT. What a great experience. Beautiful scenery, great hosts and luxurious accommodation. What more could you ask for? The food and service is also first class. We came away feeling refreshed and batteries fully recharged. We can't wait to return. Andrew and Hilary

Hi there. Just a quick word to say that Kate and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in August. The room is decadent with the double shower and fireplace. The full body massage was professional and left us feeling great. We were lucky enough to get sunny weather so we could have our cheese platter on the lawn while watching the... More

We were lucky enough to spend two nights at Villa Tarentaal for a mid-week break from Cape Town, we had such a lovely stay.
