We are a family owned and operated Family Campground and Cabin Resort located in the beautiful town of Mattawa Ontario. We are situated on 2000 feet of the scenic Mattawa River with full access to the Upper Ottawa River. It truly is a dream location where all types of outdoor pursuits can be enjoyed, from fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, ATVing, golfing, shopping and much much more. Our campground offers everything from full hook-ups to un-serviced sites. We are tent and Big Rig friendly. If you are not the camping type you can stay in one of our beautiful Cedar Cabins that have all the amenities of home. We have trailers for rent too, camp in comfort in our rental trailers. Our location is unsurpassed, located in the town of Mattawa, you can walk or cycle to town and enjoy the many delights in this picturesque town and still have all the benefits of the surrounding waterways and wilderness at your doorstep. Our site was overlooking the Mattawa River right on top of the hill. Beautiful view, ample space. Park is quiet, not noisy like other parks we have stayed at. Enjoyed floating and swimming in the river. Always something for the kids to do. Special events planned for almost every weekend. Well kept, clean and ATV trails are close by.

So clean and fully stocked with every little thing you may need. You might want to bring a bath mat as tub in our cottage was slippery. Glad dogs are not allowed in cottages as I love dogs but don’t want to share a bed or couch with one and we all know most dog lovers let their dogs on the couch and bed, I did too. A great place to stay! Like walking to town, a bike trail would be nice. Stayed July 2022

We stayed here for one night on our trip across Canada in July, this year. Wow great job, great staff, grounds look great, the setting is fabulous. Meadow & Jordan you know how to make campers feel welcome a great quality for campground owners. The ice cream is a big hit with the kids and when the fire truck arrived oh well say no more. The Christmas Parade and the Christmas decorations are a great treat for the kids. Keep up the good work, and keep up making great memories for the kids who come & stay. Great Family vacation.

We camped here in mid September. The sites are good sized, the campground is clean, the staff is friendly. Our site was right along the water, fall colours were beautiful. Maybe just the time of year, but the water was very quiet with not a lot of traffic. We would definitely camp here again.

This is a really nice private park. The owners are very attentive and helpful even during construction. There are 2 small beaches for tubing and the scenery is great. If you enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing or going out on ATVs this place is fantastic. I do have family here and will return for a visit. The Town of Mattawa has some great scenic views right in town.

Stayed here for Voyageur Days. Staff were very friendly. Park and facilities were very clean. A branch broke from a tree and within 30 minutes someone was there to take it away. Park is secure with a wristband that needs to be shown by all who enter. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed 4 days at Sid Turcotte Camping. Great park and very friendly staff. There was some construcction underway because of the spring flooding but didnt really bother us to much. Would recommend this campground and will probably return in the future.

fantastic place for a family vacation. i was here with my boyfriends family for a week; the fishing was great and the ice cream is AWESOME. love love LOVE coming here every year. this place is always something to look forward to.

We camped in our travel trailer for 2 weeks in August 2018. It was an excellent base camp for exploring the region’s kayaking, fishing, hiking and ATV opportunities. The park is outstanding. There is a lot of green space and open waterfront for strolling along. The owners are friendly, courteous, caring and efficient. The park is tranquil and so clean. The showers have plenty of hot water. You can even buy ice cream at the office. This campground is uniquely situated in the small town of Mattawa with good restaurants, chip wagons, grocery stores, hardware stores, a hospital and even a museum. Needless to say, we have reserved a spot for 2019.

Very nice park with large shaded sites. Easy acces to the river for boats, including a boat dock. Two small beaches for swimming, launching kayaks and canoes, and playing in the water. We enjoyed our stay very much!
