This typical highway motel offers very reasonable rates forcompact, clean rooms.. There is even a small fridge, microwave, coffee machine and free wifi. The bathtub/shower has plenty of hot water & the large plasma TV has numerous channels. What more do you need for a one-night stop? The only problem was finding a place to eat, someplace with atmosphere and good food that also serves wine. It certainly wasn't a Chinese-Canadian place steps away from the.motel. Another place on the water closed its kitchen at 8 pm. We ended up at KFC!

I have stayed here a few times and have been pleased with the room. The rooms are clean and well maintained. They have Wi-Fi and TV, with micro wave and small fridge. There are several well known food retailers close by for some take out food. The price is very good and the staff are very good and helpful.

Rooms are clean and well appointed with microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker, who could ask for more. Very centrally located and easy access for travellers passing through.
Our room had a queen bed and was booked on line for $55 plus tax.
We were treated in a friendly manner and would certainly stay again.

Stayed over last minute for a reception party. Room was ready, neat, and super close to the sports complex. You get what you pay for. Can't complain on anything too big as we did not shower or stay long. Would stay over again in a pinch.

This was a very basic motel, the room was clean but my particular room had obviously had a flood at some point because there were water marks on the bathroom door and spots on the floor were spongy, particularly by the dresser, you felt like if you stood there long enough you would go through. That made me concerned with probable mold. It may only be a problem in that particular unit (117), I have no way of knowing. The room however did have a fridge, microwave, cable and excellent wifi signal. It is quite noisy due to hwy 17 being so busy all night but you know that going in based on how close it sits tot he highway.

Stayed in room 117. Big problems with the floor, was not level. Like pieces were missing and puzzled back together incorrectly. It was pretty old and run down. Cigarette burns in the blankets. Wifi sucked. Because it was business I didn’t book it but I was the lucky one that had to sleep there. Bed was super uncomfortable and the pillows were flat bricks. It was clean.

I was in Sturgeon Falls on business, a co-worker and I stayed for 2 nights. It was very clean and comfortable, the owners were very friendly. Great place to stay for the price, I would definitely stay again.

We had a pleasant stay with our 3 little ones. We had a room with 2 double beds which was large enough to acommodate my husband and I and our 3 small children. Curtains and bedspreads are mismatched but everything was clean, worked and was well taken care of. There were 2 downsides: the host at the front desk who was cold and distracted by the television and the room was very warm for sleeping (>73 degrees) even though the thermostat was turned off (we stayed there in February). We did not open the windows because it would have been too noisy; the motel being along the Transcanadian Highway.
