Detailed Reviews
After deciding late in the evening to stop for the night, we were skeptical about trying this motel, only to be pleasantly surprised by the owners at check in, answered all our questions, very friendly, room was clean, beds comfortable, good shower, fridge. We felt safe. Due to covid they offered a "brown bag breakfast", of fruit, yogurt, granola bars-(peanut free! boxed juice, muffin, cookie, everything was fresh! Even delivered to your door after you got in your room so it did not matter if you had a snack, or took it on the road. Coffee maker in the room. For a motel outside the city along the highway, all rooms on ground floor with parking at your door, We would definitely stay again and recommend.

Spartan but clean and quiet. The motel was fairly isolated, but there was a Subway minutes away. The manager was pleasant, and had a statue of Shirdi Sai Baba in her office: a nice touch. Breakfast was humble but adequate. There was Wifi and a hot shower, but no plug for the bath.

We booked this motel as an inexpensive place to sleep before continuing on our road trip. We made a reservation through an online hotel site. After a very long drive, we arrived. The property looked okay, but rather deserted. We rang the bell at the door and a young woman arrived. She told us that we did not have a reservation and offered us a room at a higher rate than what we had booked for. My husband and I went out to the car to get my tablet so that I could show her our reservation confirmation, but she didn't give me the Wifi password. We decided to leave and try our luck at getting a room in Sudbury. Unfriendly and unwelcoming. We will not be back.

Was in Sudbury for an appointment and got caught in a snow storm. Roads were so bad I pulled off the first chance I got. Very simple motel, not fancy at all but does the job. Rooms are good enough, clean and comfortable. Rates are more than reasonable. Everything you need, microwave, fridge, coffee and coffee maker, air conditioning, heater, but no hair dryer (the one thing I use). I would imagine in the summer this is a nice spot, as it is on a hill top with nice grassy and forested area surrounding. Picnic tables and BBQs are available which makes for a nice affordable family spot when travelling. At first I was disappointed I was stuck in a second rate motel after staying in a nicer one in the city, but overall it's honestly quite good! Give it a chance ;)

While it’s not modern or fancy it is well maintained and friendly.
I was working in the area and found the Norvic relatively close to my destination in Garson. I only planned on staying a night or two while I secured some long term accommodations. The B&B’s in the area were not conducive to my solitary work ethic and the weekly rates at the Sudbury hotels were non existent. I talked to the very nice couple that own the Norvic about a weekly rate and they were very accommodating.
I have now been a guest for over two months and my opinions of the owners or the motel has not changed to the detriment but has grown in appreciation.
The beds are nice, the rooms are kept spotless and the owners are now friends.
My time at the Norvic is almost over for now but I will return whenever I’m in the vicinity, if not to stay, at least to say hello!

My family rented three rooms for two nights recently to be close to a family reunion on the Wanipitae river. Patel and Nancy went out of their way to make our stay easy and comfortable. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. We will choose this location again when staying in the area.

Stayed here for a night before entering the woods and bear camp. Very clean and adequate for the night. Very nice kitchenette and comfortable bed. I was tired, so it was easy to sleep, but all appeared comfortable if I hadn't been tired. Being able to park right outside my door was a plus considering I was travelling with outdoor and hunting equipment. Staff was friendly and nice (you can tell it was family run). Overall a nice inexpensive nights stay.
