At Woods and Waves we provide our guests with a quietly elegant exceptional northern holiday. Our shoreline retreat is perfect for anyone who wishes to experience an authentic Manitoulin Island vacation. Our beach is located on the North Shore of the North Channel of Lake Huron. It is a rocky shoreline and excellent portrayal of our rugged northern waters. Woods and Waves has it all.

Detailed Reviews
This was one of the most serene of all the places we stayed during our three-week road trip along Lake Superior and Georgian Bay. That’s partly because guests get the whole downstairs to themselves and the other bedroom was not occupied the two nights we were there. The other reason is because of the shoreline deck and the view from it out across the North Channel, with crickets chirping in the background punctuated by complete silence. We decided to stay here to be close to the harbour in Little Current for our North Channel Tours - Baie Fine Boat Tour into Killarney Park (see separate write-up). But the B&B itself ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
We ended up having the downstairs level to ourselves. Otherwise, we would have been sharing it with the guests in the other bedroom. The downstairs area was nicely decorated, clean and had fresh air. There was a bathroom with shower and a stocked kitchen for guest use, with full stove, fridge and freezer. Breakfast was serve-yourself. In the fridge were eggs (some from their chickens), milk and orange juice. A fruit bowl had peaches and also some tomatoes from their garden. There was bread and cereals and a toaster. We forgot to get a lemon and needed some cooking oil and a flipper, which were all cheerfully and quickly offered to us. We were able to shop at two supermarkets in nearby Little Current; on weekdays there is also a separate fish merchant there.
In addition to the shoreline deck, there are a number of other seating areas sprinkled throughout the property. We would happily return here if we were in the area.

First visit to Manitoulin and we felt very lucky to have found this B&B to stay at. The views of the North Channel were amazing. The guest area was extremely clean and well maintained. More than anything our hosts were warm and welcoming which really made our visit unique and memorable.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at Woods and Waves and we had a wonderful experience. We had access to an outdoor firepit and barbecue and the peace and tranquility of sitting by the lake in a very scenic, secluded spot. The hosts were extremely kind and friendly and the B&B itself (the ground floor of their house, a self-contained space of kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom) was clean and beautifully furnished with cosy furniture and a fireplace. If you get a chance to go to Manitoulin island, stay here!

Wonderful place on the shore of Manitoulin Island just west of Little Current. The place consists of a bedroom and living room overlooking the water. Breakfast is provided by the very friendly owners. There's only one disadvantage to the accommodation, you'll have to leave eventually.

A friend and I spent two nights in this spacious, fully-equipped b&b. The property backs onto Georgian Bay. Just a few minutes to drive to downtown Little Current. The owners are very friendly and helpful, although give you privacy. Their friendly dog and chickens were a bonus. The dog liked to play catch with his frisbee and we got fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. It was wonderful to fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves.

Myself, my husband, our son, and our dog had the whole downstairs 2 bedroom unit to ourselves. Lovely setting, friendly hosts, and very dog friendly. We had a great sleep and having a self-catering breakfast set up was perfect for us. This was a great find.
