Cute little hotel in an excellent location. Wonderful staff and service. Hotel is a bit dated and although my room was very clean my tub did not drain at all and my carpet was buckling. Just feel a little TLC is needed. Would stay again as it’s not terrible. Not many hotels to choose from and it’s convenient

As others have posted, staying here is a step back in time. No computer for reservations, you get an actual key for your room with a key tag stating the hotel's name and room number. You also have to use the same key to enter the hotel to access the rooms. The room was decent in size and yes, very dated. However, it was dated in a charming way and was very clean. Despite the age of the room, it felt very homey with no concerns of dirt and germs. Location is pretty much the best in Port Elgin, steps from the beach and many local eateries. A little pricy for what you get but considering the location and it being "prime season" it didn't bother us.

The hotel is very nice and in a great location. The staff was excellent and the take out meal was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will return for a meal in the restaurant when it is possible.

1 small peice with lots of coleslaw, over priced or small serving whichever way you want to say it. There are other options you may enjoy more, several close to the beach and good veiws of the lake as well

Our stay here was adequate but don’t expect anything that approaches luxury! The rooms are dated, the towels are practically see through and the common spaces have no sense of welcome or attractiveness. No fridge or coffee machine in the room. On the plus side; staff were friendly & helpful (some of them were “dated” as well), rooms & linens were clean, a very convenient location, & restaurants on site.

The room was clean but the room had only the bare essentials. No clock radio, or channel guide. The wooden carpet covered floor in the hallways on second floor sounded like horses when anyone walked down the hall even when wearing sneakers! When requested a first floor room told abruptly “no”.

This hotel is situated in a perfect location for Port Dover beach visitors. The hotel is old.......but the bathrooms are updated and it’s very clean. The staff are efficient and friendly. We were impressed with the beautiful landscaped grounds.....lovely flowers in bloom at the end of September. My only criticism......there was no coffee maker for early risers on a Sunday morning......and the restaurant didn’t open for breakfast until 9am.

Last day of summer. The hotel is one short block from the beach and a walkable distance from the business area. The grounds are beautiful with lots of colourful flowers and grass like a golf green. There are 18 motel style units and 2 dining rooms.Parking is free and there are lots of shops, restaurants and ice cream outlets nearby. Something for everyone!
