Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. Best of all, as much as they stated that internet is only available in the lobby, we find very good internet reception in rooms 501 (right next to the lobby, and 504 (3 rooms further away). In addition, it was fast, and allowed us to send photos immediately.

As the many reviews said, Luna Salada is built using salt. There was salt everywhere. I liked that as novelty, but after a while, did find it annoying, especially when one had to drag luggage over them. Other then that, the rooms were comfortable, though shower did take a minute or two to get the hot water. The amount of water was also quite weak.

The staff was very attentive and bent over backward to serve us. Overall, really enjoyed it.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days and it was an amazing experience! I love the design of the hotel and it feels really cozy there. But the most impressive part was the tour they origanized for us. They gave us everything we need like bicycles, shoes, water and even prepared wine for sunset. The driver was very patient and he was waiting for us at every location when we finish to make a pictures šŸ™ˆšŸ˜ƒ So we had absolutely unforgettable experience, I hope we will come back there again!

Excellent and safe experience! We stayed here for 3 nights in December 2020 and could not have asked for better service from staff and guides. All bio-security measures were strictly followed, the quality of the restaurant and meals were fantastic, and Juan at the reception desk at incredibly helpful to any request or question we had.

The hotel itself is probably the best choice in all the Salar. Situated on a high bluff overlooking the salt flats, one has a great view of the entire area with many outdoor observatories to watch a sunset and many nooks inside to enjoy their wood fireplaces.

We had Demetrio as a tour guide from the hotel for the full traditional day trip to the train graveyard, Salar stops including Isla Incahuasi, and finally wine and cheese to take in the Salar sunset. Very knowledge, kind, and great a taking perfect photos!

Highly recommend to all, great stay with great staff. Make sure to bring warm clothes and ask for the rooms with a view.

We had come from a very rustic hotel in the far southwest of Bolivia and so this hotel was quite a welcome change. The rooms are modern and clean and toasty warm. The bathrooms were spotless and functional. There are a lot of staff working constantly around the property cleaning, stoking the many, many wood stoves that keep the common areas warm and charming. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner is a buffet. Nothing special, but certainly edible. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at this salt hotel for two nights to visit the Uyuni Salt Flats.
When we arrived after sightseeing, everyone was the same, so it took a while to check in.
There were several fireplaces in the common area, which was very nice.
The room facing the Uyuni Salt Flats was very nice, as you could see the lake in the distance in the morning.
The room was clean and had a resort feel.
There was air conditioning, but no refrigerator or coffee maker.
There was no shop in the facility, and there was nothing around, so it would be nice to have coffee and tea in the room.
You can only eat at the restaurant here, or at the bar if you're staying at night.
The restaurant is only a buffet, so you get bored if you stay multiple nights, and when I asked the waiter for ice on the first night, he went to tell the kitchen and the boss came out and gave me some ice. When I asked for ice for everyone, he refused in a high-handed manner and quickly went inside, which made me feel bad, so I had dinner at the bar on the second day.
There was a welcome drink, and everyone was given a Singani sour, and we had a fun and delicious dinner with pizza, nachos, etc.
The pizza made by the waiter is especially recommended.
The waiter was very attentive and we had a pleasant dinner.
The bar is ultimately cheaper than the buffet restaurant, so I recommend it.
The stars were a bit disappointing as the hotel is bright, but the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful.
The only disappointment was that the roof was made of tin.
When I asked about the shuttle cost to the airport on the way back, I was shocked to hear it was US$50 per person, so I immediately called Hotakadake Tours, who had helped us out with our tour, and they told me it was BO250 per car, so I made a reservation straight away. It was by far the cheapest for two or more people.
I recommend Hotakadake Tours.

Iā€™ll start off by saying the hotel itself is very beautiful. They have decorated the inside very well and I thought this was nicer than it looked in Photos. It is definitely one of the better accommodation options around the uyuni area. The food was okay, the best food we probably had during our three nights day was when we ordered in the bar area. Due to how isolated the hotel is and how expensive it is to go into the main town (even if you use the shared hotel shuttle) you donā€™t really have a choice but to eat at the hotel restaurant. one thing we found very surprising was how stingy the hotel was on the amount of drinking water supplied- obviously the tapwater is not drinkable so you have to buy bottled water. We have stayed in many hotels around the world and hotels in this sort of price range Would normally give you at least a bottle of water per person which they would replace every night- we did have one bottle of water per person when we Entered our room however they didnā€™t replace this at all during our three nights day and they charged around two US dollars per 500 mL bottle. The hotel didnā€™t sell any big bottles of water which was a bit frustrating when heading out on all day excursions having to purchase four bottles of water per person. there was supposedly a tour desk operating in the hotel however no one asked us if we wanted to book excursions or spoke to us about this at all so we arenā€™t even sure how this worked. They are missing a bit of a trick because we wouldā€™ve definitely booked at least one excursion through them as we only had one external excursion booked prior to our arrival. The last thing to mention was that the sauna was supposedly under maintenance for the entire three days we were there - if weā€™re honest this seemed more like an energy saving tactic due to how quiet the hotel was. Overall a good option if you want to stay somewhere a bit nicer in Uyuni however a few small improvements can definitely be made.

The hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the salt plains. The rooms are very comfortable and there is adequate heating (bathrooms are cold as no heating there) but unusually no complimentary water and nowhere to hang a jacket. The food whether buffet or a la carte was extremely mediocre for a property of this calibre and normally luke warm at best. Breakfast and lunch were therefore perfunctory affairs for us. We did have some of our own wine with us and we got a couple of glasses from the bar and enjoyed our wine and the views in the common areas of the hotel. Much better experience! We enjoyed the ambience of the hotel hence the rating, without that likely an average rating.

This is a great hotel resort right at the beginning of Salar de Uyuni. The hotel is located about 30 mins from Uyuni town / Uyuni Airport. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with beautiful bathroom. The inside of the hotel is beautiful! Every room and hotel area is nicely set, with multiple places to sit and hang out around a firepit, game room, bar and restaurant and spa. The outdoor deck is beautiful as well. You can see the Salt Flat from your room/restaurant windows. The breakfast has a great selection. Wifi is fast and works great all around the hotel. The hotel offers $12 hotel shuttle per person.

When evaluating this hotel, you need to keep things in perspective, as the property is located in a remote area. How they pull this off with great service and accommodations is a miracle. The lobby is intimate and inviting and is very reflective of the local culture and environment. The staff is charming and very responsive to every need. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. The only minor complaint is the minimal water pressure in the shower. One morning, there was no water pressure at all, but this was quickly addressed by management. The water supply had been turned off due to the cold temperature outside to prevent freezing of the pipes.

Perfect. This hotel is incredible from start to finish. From its decoration, to its services, its facilities, its food and the attention of the staff. I recommend it 100% and of course if I return to Uyuni, I will stay here.
The hotel offers everything: bar with extended hours, buffet lunches and breakfasts, spa, massages, terrace with fireplaces, living rooms spread throughout the hotel, Wi-Fi, laundry, games room. There is always someone to help you and the staff is very friendly. The waiters are several and are attentive at all times. And excellent cleaning. In addition, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and with a great bathroom. They give you 1 bottle of mineral water per person every day, which is appreciated. And also two drinks at the bar (at least in my case). They made my stay in Uyuni perfect.

Hi, We stay for 2 nights, we were traveling with a group and the schedule was pre decided by the tour organizers. the salar is a site worth allocating a full day (and night). It was a great experience, The hotel is magnificent, and provide very good facility. It was a great experience to have breakfast when from the large windows the salar is spread all over, we even have visit of vicunas which were looking for food near the hotel. At evening it was great to sit in their outside porch and enjoy the moon light over the white plains of the salar. Yes, probably cost is a great factor, but you only live once! Whatever you decide, have FUN!
