A group of friends did a Snowmobile trip into the lodge. Great Hosts, Great Food, Great Accomodations. The area is beautiful. Will difinetly be staying here again in the future. We had some sled issues and the owner was able to help us out in the heated garage to get us back riding on the trails again in the morning.

I have never seen an establishment receive 5 star reviews by every single reviewer in all my years of travel. I now know the reasons for this regarding the Miwapanee Lodge. The experience was superb from beginning to end in every respect.....namely the service, accommodations, ambiance, and food. Do not hesitate to patronize this resort. Your hosts Suzanne and James will do everything to make your stay memorable. In addition, the lake is pristine and beautiful....a hidden gem so to speak.

Spent a week at Miwapanee and it was more than I expected. Your hosts, James and Suzanne, are exceptional and are always available for any need. The lodge itself is outstanding, incredibly designed and welcoming. We stayed in the newly built cottage just outside the lodge and it was the best I’ve ever stayed in. 4 bedroom, each with its own bathroom/shower and satellite TV. Lake Kipawa is simply beautiful and quiet. Great for fishing and swimming, we really enjoyed it. Best part is it is not crowded and noisy like Muskoka, truly is a great place to get away from it all. Highly recommended, would return in a heartbeat.

.Mario, thanks for taking the time to write your review and we're glad we were able to make your stay enjoyable even though the new cottage isn't 100% yet but soon will have all the finishing touches! Hopefully others who will get the chance to book and stay in the NOL (new old lodge) will enjoy it as much as you did. Hope to see you again soon! James & Suzanne

I have traveled around the world numerous times having stayed in hundreds of hotels. I have experienced neither better nor friendlier inn keepers than James and Suzanne Mullin at Miwapanee Lodge in Kipawa, Quebec. The food and service on the "American plan" was out of this world. The fishing cabin in which we stayed was clean and fully equipped. This husband and wife team love what they do. I looked foward to every meal for great food, conversation and laughs. They are the model by which the standards for inn keeping should be set. My 17 year old grandson who accompanied me to Miwapanee lodge said that James and Suzanne were the "nicest" people he has ever met.

From the grounds to the lodge, the ambiance is quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views, and luxurious clean and modern amenities. There is a meal plan available for dinner and breakfast and guests are welcome to bring their own bottle of wine or other beverages to dinner. Friendly and attentive hosts. I highly recommend this place.

We were on a 5 day sled trip in Quebec, we were in various hotels which were nice but on our last day we booked into Miwapanee Lodge and Spa, what a difference, beautiful log lodge built by the owners Sue and Jamie overlooking the lake, the place was spotless, we all had our own bathrooms and rooms with king or queen beds, the meals, dinner and breakfast, all home cooked by Sue, were outstanding, all in all the most relaxing night of our 5 day trip, not only would I recommend the Miwapanee lodge to anyone, we will be heading back for another stay, apparently the fishing is fantastic

This beautiful log lodge with lot's of character is situated on Lake Kipawa an enormous interconnected lake and river system just one hours drive from North Bay. The lodge offers a perfect base for exploring the lake by canoe/kayak or boat with a guide and it is close to the southern boundary of the brand new Parc Opemican, Quebec's newest National Park. The Lodge is just around the corner from the community of Kebaowek First Nation for those with an interest in Indigenous culture.

Thank you Suzanne & James for providing us a beautiful place for our last minute holiday. (We were thankful to bring our 2 old dogs with us too) The accommodations were top notch! For those of you looking for privacy, ask to stay in the Quail. The cabin was beautiful & clean, everything you need. Comfortable bed, great shower, new BBQ, lots of room and what a view! The Cabin was accessible only by water, just a short boat ride from the main lodge. We had a great time kayaking and fishing. The lake is massive and very deep! *Bring the proper fishing gear! Definitely would recommend to anyone and can't wait til our next visit.

We just got back from a week of fishing with our group of 8 fishing buddies. We stayed in the Old Lodge, which is very comfortable. This was our 3rd year in a row spent at Miwapanee Lodge. Our group came away with our share of walleye and lake trout. Our hosts, James and Suzanne) were there usual wonderful hosts. They looked after us very well. The Kipawa Quebec area is a delight to visit and travel around this large, great water system and see the sites is spectacular. Seeing the millions of stars in the sky on a clear night is awesome. We have rebooked again for next year, same time.....same place! Don B Wasaga Beach Ontario
