This is a dual resort, Mayan Princess/Las Sirenas. I don't know what the differences are, because we had the run of the whole place.
My wife said, "I expect DI Goodman show up anytime". Luckily there was no death in this paradise.

I stayed at Las Sirenas at Mayan Princess for a weekend. What a wonderful and relaxing time. The hotel is on the beautiful west end of the island. Very clean and beautiful resort. The staff at Las Sirenas and Mayan Princess were phenomenal. They were...More
Some friends and I got an amazing deal on Thanksgiving weekend - 4 nights at Las Sirenas all-inclusive, airfare included (from Tegus) for just over $500. How they are making any money off of us, I don’t know!
The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly,...More
Can't say enough good things about Las Sirenas! The place was immaculate, the staff was friendly and took such great care of us! The food was delicious! The all inclusive was worth it! The dive shop did an awesome job! Would go back!

We went through our local dive shop and got a package deal. It was VERY reasonable. if you are a diver I suggest checking with your local dive shop or with a dive club to see if they can set up a trip!

There's nothing within walking distance that I was aware of. Las Sirenas was about a 20 minute drive from our port. Part of the "all-inclusive" price we paid was actually that the resort provided our taxi service from the Carnival port so we didn't do any exploring around the area on our own. You can walk up and down the beach and there MIGHT have been places to eat, but most of the things I saw were resort-type places. There were plenty of things to do on the beach though.. jet skis, massages, scuba, etc.
