This concerns the restaurant. I have been to Ibagari numerous times and have always had exceptional service. It is a stunning hotel. I have business breakfast meetings there weekly since I live close by. My business associate who I usually go with is away right now so I decided to treat 2 of my workers that are renovating my house and it was horrendous. Whether it was because of the way my worker were dressed or it was just bad service, I don't know. I received my breakfast one hour and 40 minutes after ordering it! I had to get up and get my coffee myself! There were numerous other problems. When I was leaving the manager who was rude and had seen all of this fiasco asked if there was a problem with the service! I asked for the hotel general manager and he claimed it was him which I found out wasn't true. When I got home I found out who the correct manager was and sent a note. I also asked for a response from the general manager and the owner who lives in Guatemala. It has now been 30 hours and I still do not have a response.

Property's Favourite Review
I just returned from Roatan and I stayed a few nights at Ibagari and I am still dreaming about it. Service: is impeccable and everyone is so friendly. Hotel: every detail was thought out with the design of this hotel. Everywhere you turn there there is something that makes you go ‘ wow what a great idea’ Art: you are walking through an art gallery every day. It’s all just stunning! Food: absolutely fabulous, every meal was spectacular. Drinks: excellent cocktails I enjoyed poolside and watching the sunset. I can’t say enough about how amazing this hotel is. If you want to check out west bay or west end you are 10 min walk along the beach in either direction. I can’t wait to return.

This was our 3rd time staying at Ibagari and it never disappoints. Beautiful, peaceful grounds with just enough privacy for those wanting a getaway. The dive shop personal are above and beyond accommodating and the food/bar staff can't be beat! Jessy is the best bartender on the island! Lovely flat beach to take walks or runs on and of course the beautiful blue water is hard to compare. We love Roatan and this is by far our favorite spot!

My fiancee and I just returned from a spectacular visit to Ibagari Resort on Roatan. Don Carlos and Dona Ana have built an elegant oasis of understated luxury. The common areas flow beautifully in the open air setting to the gorgeous private beach and have spectacular local art work and sculptures. Luna Muna restaurant is far and away the best in the area for all meals - lobster eggs benedict for breakfast, the amazing Duna burger with jalapeno jam for lunch, fish ceviche with coconut sauce for appetizers watching the sunset, lobster ravioli or grilled octopus for dinner. Chef Alex, Ingrid, the food and beverage manager, and the amazing staff including Ruthie, Harvey, Daniel, Aldo, and mixicologist Jessy provide the perfect balance of expert service and genuine warmth. Pulling the entire Ibagari experience together is Lucas at Duna Dive Shop. Lucas, assisted by Lucila and crew, gave us the best scuba diving experience of my life. I cannot recommend Ibagari Resort and Duna Dive Shop any more highly and look very much forward to multiple return visits

I cannot say enough about this amazing resort staffed by the friendliest and most professional staff I've ever encountered. The room was perfect, the food incredible, and Duna Divers world class! I got to know all the staff from management to the world's best housekeepers Sara and Gina. Carlos the owner was also on the property for several days making sure his guests enjoyed a 5 star experience.
