What a wee gem of a place. Easily accessed off the A66 in a small village. Very friendly and welcoming and lunch was really nice. As for the homemade scone - huge, fresh and absolutely gorgeous. Will certainly be back.
Our reception was frosty...mature lady...no offer of an early breakfast..no shampoo or hairdryer in room...and you had to ask for your room to be serviced. Very poor. We missed breakfast both days as had early start Stayed in two pubs recently where we were offered...More
