Fantastic food, staff and environment! I tried snow crab, fish and lamb. Everything was perfect! I will absolutely return one day and I will spend a night there. I can definitely recommend this place!

I have visited Gjestehus already three times and cannot wait my next trip up there. I have been there alone, with family and friends, stayed at the Månedskarbua, Hilmar Olsen barn and also at the cheaper/simpler Vandrarhem, called "I havna". (All the prices are quite reasonable, it is Norway after all.) Gjestehus is calm, cozy and beautiful paradise. Experience is...

I have visited the guest house a few times for lunch and dinner, I really really hope I get the chance to spend a few nights there some day. The environment is just out of this world, amazing nature, just takes your breath away. The buildings of the guest house is carefully and delicately renovated. When you sit in the...

Spent one night here, 1290 kr for a room for two. Excellwnr facilities. Beautiful scenery. The whole place witnesses a lot of care and dedication from the owners. More places in Finnmark could need this kind of vision. A nice to have as a base for further exploring too.

Hard to add anything more to the already superlative reviews - all I can say is that they are not lying! The location was stunning but made even more special by Margherita who was holding the fort whilst the owners were unable to be there. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she went the extra mile the whole...

We had the most wonderful time at Kongsfjord Guesthouse, such a beautiful place. The accommodation was perfect for 2 couples travelling together and it was warm and comfortable. Wonderful food and drink. As for the Owner and her colleagues they could not have been more perfect... had the feeling we had known them forever and they looked after us in...

My sister and I have just returned from Norway. We stayed here for a couple of days and wish we could have stayed longer and not wasted time or money going to the next venue in Kirkenes. There was quite a bad storm but our room was cosy, warm and safe. Osa and Marguerita make this place very special indeed....

My sister and I were here for a couple of nights and have never felt so welcome. Asa and Margarita are amazing women and their warmth and the quality of the accommodation made for an unforgettable stay. If you go, make sure you take advantage of the very cosy lounge area upstairs, with tea and coffee on tap, so very...

Stayed here for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year to go scuba diving with king crabs. The room was wonderful and tastefully furnished, with real character. Kongsjford is a tiny place, but is home to some fantastic people. Although the owners were away, I was made to feel amazingly welcome by Margarita (a wonderful lady who works at the...

Currently in Kirkenes after a wonderful two night stay at the Kongsford Gjestehus. As others have commented, the warmth of welcome from Asa and Margarita, combined with the high quality accommodation, delicious home made food and simply stunning surroundings make this a very special place. Walked for four hours around the peninsula and didn't see another person - just the...
