We recently stayed one night at KT when our intended luxury tented camp was rained out :j. It's pretty basic and seemed to suit the adventure types who made up most of the guests. Food was a pretty plain buffet without any of the tastes that make Moroccan food so special. The dunes were spectacular.

the best hotel next to the dunes, owned by xaluca group.very big rooms, big buffet. rooms got doggy lights. nice hotel if you take into account the landscape and camels outside. you have to get a room with breakfast and dinner included. no restaurants close to it.

When we arrived, we had problems to drive the last meters to the hotel, no 4x4 and the day before they had heavy rain. So the street turned into a river. They were just tidying up and organizing a tractor to repair the street. I guess it is one of the better places there, just at the dunes. The pool...

Found this hotel through a guide book and it did not disappoint. Top notch facility, great staff and an amazing Buffet made this one of our favorite hotels in all of Morocco. We stayed for two nights, one in the dunes, one in the hotel. Would certainly recommend this to anyone. Our camel guide to the desert, Yousef was very...

This place was very nice. We came through this hotel on our way to sleep in the tents in the Sahara. On our way back, they gave us a room to shower before a long drive. First, they tried to let us shower in the spa that had no sink or mirror for my wife to get ready and was...

My family and I returned a few weeks ago from a wonderful 10 day trip in Morocco that was seamlessly organized by Sahara Magic Tours. After my first phone conversation with Hassan at Sahara Magic Tours immediately felt my anxiety about planning my trip go away. Hassan was GREAT, he was friendly, flexible, very patient with all my questions and...

Kasbah Tombouctou is a charmer. Beautifully located at the edge of the sand dunes, built in the tradition Moroccan style. It's a wonderful place to get back to after a ride to the Saharan dunes. Cool, comforting with great food!

It is a desert experience, not a 4 star hotel-spa, but considering where it is located it is still pretty darn nice. My friends and I stayed for one night while on a tour of Morocco and this was our opportunity to be in the desert and ride a dromedary named Jimmy Hendrix to the top of a sand dune...

This is a Xaluca hotel and we had stayed in a fabulous one in Dades so immediately jumped at booking this. What a let down!!!! There is no way Xaluca should let its name be put on this hotel. The hideous camel statues at the entrance tell you that there is no class here. The hotel is badly managed and...

The 4 of us arrived late at night but we had no trouble checking in. The rooms were large but dark (which they seem to be every where in Morocco) and the beds were a little hard/uncomfortable. The whole hotel looks a little out of place, more Mexican then Moroccan but it is very clean. The buffet dinner and breakfast which...
