Following the long trip from Birdsville to Windorah, it was a very pleasant surprise to be presented with a very clean and comfortable cabin. Once my head hit the pillow I was gone and slept very well.

We have stayed here many times and look forward to many more. Chumpy and Di are amazing hosts and the accommodation is amazingly clean and comfortable. The food is home made and to die for! Di makes her own salads an dressings and my wife talks of them regularly. This is a much looked forward to component of our annual...

In our travels throughout Australia, my first check for accommodation are to the local caravan parks however if this fails I go to general self contained accommodation. In Windorah Qld, the c.p. had nothing but option 2 came up with Cooper Cabins. What a winner! Clean, modern, a separate bedroom away from the living area and plenty of room -...

The weather was cold, grey & windy. The hospitality was warm & welcoming, the cabins clean, well maintained & appointed. Also quiet roomy as cabins go. We stayed to visit family for three nights. Not a lot to do in Windorah except relax & enjoy the Aussie country atmosphere.

Four of us were on our way to the Big Red Bash and stayed in cabins 10 and 11. The receptionist was very pleasant as were our cabins. We were cosy and the cabins were fully equipped with all we needed. We did a walk around the town in the evening, witnessed a beautiful sunset and found ourselves listening and...

We booked here but had to change our dates as roads were closed because of flooding - so nice of them to hold the second night for us with no problem. Fabulous amenities and so clean - we and our kids had everything we needed and had a wonderfully quiet night's sleep. Really appreciated the warm heating on a cold...

While we only stayed 1 night, mid week, it was a special night as the State of Origin, our local interstate rugby league match was on, so patronage was high, especially in the bar and restaurant. Our room was exceptionally good considering the age of the cabins, with adequate space and a great bathroom. The bedroom had a reverse cycle...

My wife and I stayed overnight here after a long dusty drive from Charleville in our way to the Big Red Bash 2016. Not only were the cabins clean, tidy and perfectly laid out, but our hosts were awesome and super friendly sharing a few laughs at the bar and taking in some yummy home cooking in the restaurant. This...

After camping for three nights, we decided to give ourselves some creature comforts, on our road trip North in Central Queensland and our next town to stay was Windorah. We looked up Trip advisor and saw Cooper Cabins rating well, so gave them a ring. We luckily got the last room at 130 a night twin share. Not sure what...

A weekend in Windorah, Wow, we arrived then headed out to the red sand dunes. They are stunning, with recent rain there is a green hugh all around. Even the dune has new herbage growing. The colors are stunning and vivid! After dinner, we headed back out to take star- tracking photos. Then back to the cabin, a cuppa then...
