Came here for a quick lunch en route to Mirissa. Nice old colonial style. Food was ok, good but nothing amazing. Not a wide range of curries but the Daal was nice and food and drinks were well priced for us all.

We stayed there while we are on our way back from Kataragama. This place is having a historical value too. Food they serve is tasty. Place is clean. Matara beach and Parawi Duwa temple is right in front of the hotel. You can visit many place in Matara town by foot from here.

Although the food is tasty enough (mostly vegetarian with just one fish curry), served buffet-style, the service at this place is plain shoddy. We had to ask several times for Ginger Beer and when it did arrive we had nearly finished lunch. Similarly our request for paper napkins was ignored until I raised my voice. One or two waiters were...

They serve excellent traditional Sri Lankan food. We had breakfast and lunch on two separate occasions. Expect food such as dhal, kiribath, lunu miris, roti, hoppers for breakfast. The beach is just alongside the hotel and is about 3km from the highway.

This place is located just couple of meters away from the busy Matara town. But perfect location as this is facing towards the Matara Beach. Rooms are quite good and worth for the money. All basic needs are there including TV, AC and Hot water. Staff is good and responsive. Food is also reasonably priced and tastes good. This place...

If you want to experience a real Sri Lankan Hotel, select this one. It is located in a perfect spot close to the city center but away from hectic Matara. It is a mixture of colonial style and a Motel. Do not expect to get what exactly you order. The side dish might be different, some detail might be lost...

Is it so hard to find English speaking work force? Tea and coffee are totally different drinks. When someone orders Sri Lanka style coffee they don't deserve instant. Guests should not be wandering around to find waiters. Otherwise great location, nice building

Stayed here for 2 nights, a popular place for weddings so can be a little busy but not intrusive. Staff were attentive, gold star to Sumedha who made sure that the food was to our taste, made some recommendations and was generally very helpful.
