Our family spent 4 amazing days at Moonracer Farm as part of a 2 week jungle/beach Belize vacation. My husband, myself, and our 3 year old shared the cabin (both rooms) with my brother and sister-in-law, and it was the perfect size. The cabin itself was beautifully built, with clean bathrooms, great showers, and large, comfortable beds. The fact that...

We stayed with Tom and Marge for 5 nights with our two teen boys. My two picky eaters ate and ate, in fact they thought that the highlight of our 14 days in Belize was Marge's food, and that says something, because they cave tubed, horseback rode, we went to ATM and went river tubing. My favourite was the trip...

I stayed at Moonracer farm for four nights in February with my boyfriend. We wanted a nice place to stay in the Jungle where we would be close to all the activities we wanted to do. Moonracer definitely exceeded our expectations! Marge and Tom were great! They were very helpful when it came to deciding what tours to take and...

Tom and Marge have an excellent web site loaded w/ information any traveler would like to know about. There are many sites close-by to visit. We visited among others Tikal (Guatamala), Xunantunich--Mayan Ruins, 1000 foot falls, a butterfly farm, Mayan Botanical tour. The Belize Zoo was great. The Mayan Temples, etc. were spectacular, but we enjoyed all the places we...

The three of us (2 adults and our 10 year old daughter) spent 2 nights at one of Moonracer's cabins. On the second day we went to Green Hills butterfly ranch, Barton Creek Cave, lunched at one of Tom and Marge's friends house and ended the afternoon doing some swimming at Big Rock falls and Rio on Pools. Tom was...

We stayed with marge and tom for 3nights and had a wonderful time. The days were packed full with tours to tikal and ATM and the evenings were peaceful and relaxing. I loved the food, every meal was amazing and fresh. There's no electricity at night, but kerosene lamps and flashlights are sufficient and it was nice being away from...

My girlfriend and I just spent 5 nights at Moonracer and we had an amazing time! Marge and Tom are awesome hosts and they hooked us up with River Rat tours who provided fun and very knowledgeable guides! Marge cooked wonderful meals that included homemade bread and pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice and fruit off their trees, vegetarian and meat...

We stayed at Moonracer Farm for three days and absolutely loved it. The room we stayed in and the furniture were beautifully designed and custom made by Tom, the owner. His wife, Marge is a great cook. She fed us home cooked meals prepared in her amazing jungle kitchen. I'll never forget her breakfasts of homemade yogurt and granola, as...

I'm a stubborn traveler and ignored Marge's generous offers for transfers from San Ignacio. Who knew that most of the cabbies in town don't speak English, like the majority of Belize? So after a few negotiation breakdowns, I finally hired a driver to get me and my wife to Moonracer. After each mile on a nine mile dirt road, I...

The perfect way to start our travels in Belize. Staying with Tom and Marge at Moonracer Farm was more like visiting family than staying at a hotel. Their attention to detail and level of service exceeded that of a 5 star hotel! They advised on local tours and attractions, hand picking the best local guides and services. They are located...

“You will be in the jungle/rainforest so your views are of that, and the sounds are those of birds like toucans, mot-mots and parrots.”

“There is only one cabin with two rooms, separate entrances, but close quarters sharing a thin wall between rooms on the inside. They have wifi when they turn it on; it's slow I guess. We didn't use it much. The location is more what it isn't than what it is: natural, environmentally aware, understated brilliance. Look at the guest photos!”

“It is better to take all the lodge if you are a little group or a large family. Sharing the lodge with another couple coulee more annoying since the walls are very thin. This was the only negative point that i can underline.”
