A friendly family-run place in the heart of Morella. Many of the staff are part of the family and all are really helpful. The rooms are very clean and of a good size. Ask for one at the back for amazing views over the surrounding countryside. Locals also use the hotel bar which gives a nice atmosphere and you can... More

The best thing about this hotel is that it is right in the middle of the old town - possibly the best located of all the hotels in La Morella. You walk out the hotel doors and you have your choice of stores, cafes, and a short (strenuous) walk up to the castle. The other good thing is that is... More

This is a fine, not luxe, hotel in the middel of the old centre of Morella. The price quality is very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The service is very friendly. They are prepared to assist you with what is for them possible, even it is not related to the hotel. I realy can recommend it.

We stayed the night here and every aspect of the hotel was a pleasant experience. The room we had overlooked the mountains and was very clean. I forgot to pack in my husband's toothbrush and was so relieved that their toilet amenities included a dental kit. There was free wifi, too. The decor of the entire hotel was done in... More

In doing his research, my husband discovered Morella, a medieval walled city. The pictures were impressive. What we didn't expect was how quiet and peaceful the town was. After the throngs of people in Barcelona Morella was an oasis of calm. The hotel was just inside the city walls near the towers (Torre Vella o de l'Aspero)off the 232. Although... More

We stayed for one night only, mid-week in May, at the Rey Don Jaime and had a perfect stay. Had we known how wonderful Morella and this hotel are, we would have planned to stay at least one night more. We were two couples. Our rooms on the 3rd floor were delightful. They had small balconies which opened on to... More

It is only a 2 minute walk from the Main Gate into the fortified Town, to the Hotel. Useful if you have to carry heavy suitcases. All visitors have to park their cars outside the enclosed town. We paid Euro 52 all inclusive of taxes for a 1 night. stay but if you want breakfast, the rate would be Euro... More

We were so impressed with Morella. It awed us as we rounded the corner of the road and spotted the fortress atop the hill in a beautiful setting. The hotel was just fine, the rooms were suitable and clean, the price was reasonable, the air conditioning worked, the beds were firm and comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel because... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights on our honeymoon. We initially were put in a room which faced the back air conditioning unit (noisy and unattractive views). We were transferred to another room which unfortunately had a broken air conditioner (it was 36 degrees). The third move was to a more appropriate (and bigger) room. During all... More
