We have decided to book our stay in this hotel upon seeing the beautiful area it is located in. However upon arrival few days later, the hotel was simply terrible. The room itself small and not good for three people. Not very well taken care of. The main bed as well as the extra bed not acceptable. The extra bed...

I booked this hotel for two nights after driving by it. It has a small pool, fitness room, plenty of opportunities for hikes a restaurant and a cafe among oodles of spa treatments. After stepping into my room, I couldn't spend the night in such a poor room. It was quite small, without two double beds (three guests), no sitting...

Good location for nature lovers BUT the hotel needs a serious refreshment and this is an hotel for family. It means noise every time and everywhere, to be wake up at 7:30 thanks to the children and the very bad soundproofing. Dinner between 17:00 and 19:00. For a three-stars hotel you feel that everything is counted: very poor buffet for...

The hotel is good, staff is good and polite - but the rooms are not well equipped nor furnished. The hotel has very nice but not too big pool - anyhow it makes children happy. Breakfast very OK, nice choice of food, although no fresh food being prepared on the spot. Located far from the center of Szklarska Poreba but...

We booked a week at Hotel Las via groupon for about 160 zł/night for two people. This included breakfast and dinner/lunch (the main meal) Good points: location (for nature walks/hikes), food, staff, facilities Bad points: location (getting there without a car is tough), food choices if you are vegetarian and the bed Location: to get to this place by car...

We had an amazing time during our family stay during Christmas 2014. As for the hotel there are a lot of positives that seem to be ignored in other reviews (I only read them after I had already booked!)...but don't worry, the hotel isn't too bad. 1 - Taking into account polish standards I'd say that the service is was...

This is a new hotel 4 km from the nearest town (but in nice nature park with lots of walks) and the architecture is semi-traditional but without charm. Long underground corridors, dark colours, not very inviting. Service is haphazard and not too friendly. English spoken at desk but not elsewhere. Food (self-service buffet) is so-so, not cheap but bland (and...

We visited Hotel Las in Szklarska Poręba during 2010, New Years 2010. We reserved the most luxurious room, called Matecznik "Niedźwiedzia" - luksusowy. The hotel was much smaller than we expected. Not nearly as wonderful as we had hoped. The service was a total sham. They were often rude. The swimming pool was very small. It looks like 25 meter...

We traveled last week from Ireland to Poland for a wedding. I would never have thought of staying in this area or Hotel as it is off the beaten track in relation to transport as the nearest airports are Prague or Warclaw.... we chose Prague. Due to the volume of guests flying in for the wedding there were busses organised...
