me and my wife booked this park purely for the convenience of it being so close to longleat zoo and that was what our trip was based on. we wanted somewhere to pitch up our tent, sleep and a little bit of fishing. staff was very friendly, locked electric gates made it feel safe but still with easy access with...

We camped here in our camper van with the Grandchildren. The children loved it. The park is very good for children with great woods and plenty of play equipment. The cafe is good value but a bit disorganised. The camp site can be noisy but not excessively so when we were there.

It might not be the best activity center in the country but if you are looking for a bit of fun and a quaint camp site, that doesn't cost the earth then this place is ideal. There's shop and café on site and the activities are just right for a small group friends or family to join in with and...

After booking a weekend away with a group of family, I was told that they would have to open the top field as they was so busy. But when we arrived the top field was actually the staff car park. This had a main road with trees separating it so it do not feel safe for the kids to play,...

Came here with 2 children (9 and 10) and enjoyed easy camping - flat large pitches. Perfectly clean and plentiful toilets and showers - lots of hot water and no queues. Shop has useful camping essentials and not outrageously expensive, pocket money stuff for kids, and cafe - all reasonable. Free activities with 2 adventure playgrounds and an adventure trail...

We booked a weekend away at Brokerswood with friends and their families. It was a truely fantastic weekend in beautiful surroundings. We took part in the activities offered in the park which were Tarzan tree top trail, archery and canoeing which were excellent value for money. The young instructors were a delight to spend time with, they were friendly and...

Have just returned from a camping trip with family at brokerswood. We are a couple and brother, sister in law and 6 year old nephew, set up camp in 20a and 20 which are good sheltered pitches although next to lane with agricultural traffic. The nightly tariff of £28 is for 4 people in one tent. If you are a...

We stayed for 2 nights with two adults, an 8 year old and a 5 year old. The campsite was great - not too busy, nice and tidy with big pitches and good facilities. It would have been lovely and quiet too, apart from the music festival that was going on in a nearby field on both the Friday and...

This is the 1st time staying here and I have to say it was good but very busy. The pitches were big enough for our huge tent. Lots of things to keep the kids entertained outside, the forest walk and the big park. The only thing that annoyed me was that other parents didn't keep an eye on there kids...

18th birthday celebrations for our daughter...what better than a Zombie Apocalypse? Two games...a group challenge & individual survival. (I survived by the way!) Our son (aged 26) can still scream like a girl. The BBQ was ready upon the end of the second game & the toasted marshmallows are a must. A brilliant team who organised our evening. We will...

“This is a camp / caravan site not a hotel! In three years we have stayed three times and pitches have always been very good. Guests are asked to be quiet in the evenings so it is generally very quiet at night. Faculties are very good, food in the cafe very good and good value”
