Cheryl and Ian are the most inviting and caring people we have ever come across. They have put so much love and warmth into every moment in their beautiful home. From the moment you arrive to the heartfelt fair-well, you can really tell they are genuine people who want you to enjoy your stay.

The breakfast in a B&B is always a defining feature and Allara definitely does not disappoint. Homemade bread, jams, chutneys. Fresh fruit salad and home roasted musli. To top it off, an always delightfully warm dish prepared by the talented Cheryl just for her guests. From the moment you sit down you know that this is not an ordinary breakfast.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with a whole host of amenities that really make it feel like home. And home it does feel, we were so comfortable in our room (and so delighted with our view) that we decided a few nights during our stay to have a pizza “at home”.

I cannot recommend this beautiful piece of paradise enough and can honestly say that we will definitely be returning.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Ian and Cheryl to their lovely B&B. Lots of greenery and tranquility. Our room, the Vintage Rose is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The home made carrot cake upon our arrival and breakfast everyday were simply sumptuous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Allara homestead :)

The B&B is set on the shores of a spring-fed lake. It's a peaceful setting only a short drive to restaurants and shops of Montville and Maleny. Cheryl and Ian are very welcoming and the breakfasts were beautiful. All conveniences have been considered and the room was really comfortable. Thank-you for a lovely couple of days.

This was a last minute booking for us. Cheryl and Ian are fantastic hosts.
They have put a great deal of work setting up Allara.
The 4 suites have different themes with great detail. Each suite has private entrance from verandah and private ensuites in each. Our Rose suite was perfect with French doors opening to an ample balcony, overlooking gardens which was perfect for watching sunset with wine and cheese platter. The homemade breakfast included was served on the deck with other guests. Perfect to chat about each other's adventure and get some local tips from hosts. Situated near the hinterland towns of Flaxton,Montville and Maleny this is the perfect spot for weekend or midweek getaway.
