Had a marvellous evening taking advantage of one of the ' Soiree Musicale' offered whilst making the booking. It amounts to a fixed price stay [€210 ea] which includes a cocktail reception, concert and Dinner inclusive of wine etc, a 'superior' room and breakfast. Having read some previous reviews suggesting the place was not so good we were impressed by...

We went to a 1 night break at the hotel. We booked a 1 night double room and so when we were shown to our room we were suprised that we were closed to the boiler room with a noise of blast engine -nevertheless the decor was lovely. The bath room had no shower curtain and the enamel of the...

I stayed two nights last June at this fairy-tale castle in our way back from a trip to Loire Valley with my family. We had a rental car with us which it was convenient for exploring the area around the Chateau d'Esclimont. The Chateau d'Esclimont is set in the heard of a very large wooden park, surrounded by its moats...

Set in a huge and beautiful park setting, this Hotel has fine dining and beautiful rooms. I insisted on staying in the main chateau for fear that the "pavillion rooms" might be something uninteresting. Upon arrival, though, I found that these rooms, although in slightly newer buildings (maybe only a couple of hundred years old, as opposed to about 600...

To begin with the positive, absolutely beautiful grounds and outside appearance (although there was algae left in the moat). For an outside wedding I would definitely recommend as it appears almost "fairytale like." There are plenty of attractive white benches around the pond that made a perfect spot for a morning breakfast picnic overlooking the chateau and lake. Now, for...

Like a lot of the previous reviews, this was a beautiful place! The Rooms were large and lovely; we stayed in the main building at the top floor. I personally liked the little sitting area in our room. When we arrived to the Chateau. Our room was not ready yet, so they offered us to sit in the restaurant to...

This chateau is rated as 4 stars and is a hotel of "Small Luxury Hotels". It surely did not prove that it was. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful property with incredible grounds. Once you get passed that, it isn't quite nice. We arrived after 3 days in Paris thinking we could relax after walking and seeing sights...

The chateau is lovely. The grounds are lovely. Our room was lovely. No complaints there. The proximity to Chartres and the beautiful cathedral was great. Our room was in the chateau and was large and spacious. The bathroom was brightly lit, though the shower was fairly useless. My 6' tall husband had to crouch down about a foot in order...

It was a dark and foggy night. We first got to the village near the castle and had to ask for direction. The villagers were nice to point to the direction of the castle but it was so foggy we had to just trust their directions. We drove about 5 miles per hour in the fog until we saw a...

We stayed just this past week and had a wonderful large room for our two girls and my husband and I. The bathroom tile was a bit odd given it was brown and seemed dated, but otherwise the terry robes and oversized towels were lovely additions. Two comfortable cots were added at turn down time for the girls. The beds...
