We spent 2 nights in Rivendell with 1 other couple in May and absolutely loved it. The treehouse itself had amazing views and allowed for both couples to have privacy. More importantly, the other treehouses couldn't be viewed from ours which was great for additional privacy. It felt like you were in your own home in the woods! Service by...

We spent 2 nights in Rivendell with another couple in late April. We arrived by rental car from the Arenal area, skirting Lake Arenal with a stop en route at the Volcano Brewing Co. The drive is tedious over the last 1 1/2 hours. All stone roads winding up through the mountains but the view are extraordinary and its safe...

Beautiful grounds and facility. The afternoon tea/happy hour was not only delicious but a great way to meet other guests. The beans and rice for breakfast were some of the best I've ever had, and the red sangria was excellent. Nice location for hikes/excursions, although quite a hike into town if you don't have a rental. A number of local...

My wife and I stayed in the cascade room at Hidden Canopy on our honeymoon in August and had an amazing time!! The cascade room, even though attached to the main house, has a lot of privacy, and a serene and beautiful view of the garden and the stunning cloud forest, sweeping all the way down to the gulf of...

We stayed in the Eden Treehouse. It was a little expensive but we were excited about the hot tub in the room surrounded by the forest. However, the hot tub was broken for one of the two days we were staying there. When it worked it was very nice. Their food and drinks were very good and they were helpful...

The Magic of Monteverde is made perfect in the hands of the Hidden Canopy's delightful hostess, Jenn, and her staff. Exquisite facilities, superb service, delicious breakfasts and snacks and constant attention make this stop a MUST for vacationers, honeymooners, tourists and lovers. Jenn's advice and support, though, proved to be the "cherry on the sundae," because she connected us with...

WOW. Pricey yes, but worth every penny. Though Jen was taking care of her dad, Natalia was awesome in taking care of us. We were in the Eden Treehouse and loved it. The tours they arranged--coffee plantation and birding, were superb. We ordered dinner IN from a local restaurant and that was super. The happy hour is awesome and almost...

We had a wonderful 3 nights at the Hidden Canopy Treehouses. Our tree house the "Rivendell" had a large living room area with its own bathroom, two spacious bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The living room area was beautiful, with a magnificant view of the Nicoya Penninsula and Monteverde Cloud Forest. The breakfast is delicious! Jenn, the owner, made...

Stayed only one night but the impression was instantly wishing for more. The Glade was a beautiful tree house, well situated on the property, as all the tree houses appeared to be. I don't think you can go wrong here. The Tea Time was welcoming and refreshing and the property was immaculately maintained and inviting. The details were attended to...
