We booked this trip on a whim and had no expectations going in. We were trying to decide between a relaxing beach vacation or a safari. We stumbled on this place and realized we could have both. While it was cold and not the best time of the year to be on the beach, we weren't the least bit disappointed....

From check in to check the experience was excellent! The 180 degree view Ocean Suite was immaculately decorated with 2 bathrooms, 1 with a jet-bath (and sea-view) and the other with a double rain-shower (and sea-view). All 3 meals taken in the restaurant were flawless. If you are looking for a secluded romantic getaway in the wild and at the...

Even if you've been to the best of remote upscale or eco-friendly destinations destinations in the past, you will have an experience here unlike any others. Each morning I walked out on my balcony to watch the clean surf roll in and observed resident giraffes, rhinos, bontebok, nyala, sable, impala, bushbok, ostrich and even rhinos slowly grazing the hill. During...

What an amazing place. We loved our stay at Oceana and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a Bush and Ocean break. The Game Drives were fantastic - we saw some antelope species we had not seen in many years, and the Baby Sable were an absolute highlight. We also spent an afternoon at the beach which was wonderful -...

A slice of paradise in the ocean suite. We had my Birthday dinner in our room. Lovely meals and lovely people. We felt pampered and appreciated the attention to detail and the luxury of our suite. We would love to take the whole family with our next visit.

Overall fantastic place to stay. Fantastic service, spectacular accommodation. Would recommend Oceana to anyone. Unfortunately could not go on the game drive, but from what I have seen it should be great. Friendly staff make you feel right at home!

This is one of the finest gems in the Eastern Cape. The rooms are spacious with their own private sea views. The staff are very friendly and yet professional, they have been very well trained and enjoy their work. We were treated with the utmost care from the moment we arrived until we left. The food is so delicious, the...

The weekend away at Oceana Beach and Wildlife Reserve was an absolute awesome break away! The house is very luxurious with a breath-taking ocean view. It was the coldest weekend in the Eastern Cape so far, but we did not mind as we were sitting next to the fire place overlooking the ocean and watching the wild life drinking at...

Great choice for honeymoon!! Lovely rooms with huge glass doors that opens up onto a veranda with a look at the beach right beneath your feet. The best bathrooms with glass showers and a huge spa bath overlooking the ocean at day and the stars at night. Its surely recommended!!!
