I stayed for 2 nights for work, the hotel seemed lovely at first and the staff were very helpful. First look at the room it was basic but completely fine. Stayed here for one night on a business stop over and was genuinely surprised by the quality of service, room and breakfast offered at this hotel. Very good indeed and as I will be in the area again soon, I will be returning to this hotel for sure.

We have just returned from our first visit to the Woodlands Hotel. The hotel is great, with big car park and lovely staff. We had a ground floor room with side access to car park which is ideal for the less mobile. The staff were so friendly & helpful and the meals are wonderful. We had a lovely stay, they rooms are good, with everything you could want, the staff are amazingly lovely and sort out all your needs, the restaurant is also of a high standard, with a great menu of freshly cooked food that they will tailor to your requirements. Enjoyed our stay very much

staff are always helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms are warm and comfortable, and the bar is cosy and welcoming. close to the town centre so restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance

This is a very nice, friendly and welcoming hotel. The rooms are spacious, warm, clean and comfortable, however the ensuite is a bit on the small side but serves it's purpose. Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful when organising transport for my partner and I to the venue of my dad's 60th birthday. Clean and comfortable room. Plenty of on-site parking and close to all amenities. Good value

Nice filling breakfast,lovely big hot shower,pleasant staff,room good for what we needed,positioned close to the amenities we needed,rooms clean and tidy,good car parking on site,organised a local taxi for us when we needed it
