We loved our stay in Santa Fe! We spent one night here and found it to be very charming. We loved the small town feel. Our room at El Caballo Verde was spacious and extremely clean. We were there during a huge wind storm but that just added to the charm. The owner is fascinating and we had many great talks.... More

My 6 days at El Caballo Verde Hotel were so rejuvenating. The room was very comfortable as was the "hammock hut". Each morning there was a hearty breakfast, prepared by the host/owner. Yum. Went for walks, drives, slept, read a whole book, rare for me. The mountains are gorgeous, lush and tropical. If you want dinner you can reserve each... More

We spent one night at El Caballo Verde Hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were fair sized with a comfortable queen-size bed, and a small sitting area. The bathroom was somewhat small, but clean, with warm showers and pretty good water pressure. That is sometimes hard to find here! Breakfast is included, but not made to order. The owner,... More

We stayed here for three days over Semana Santa. Our bedroom suite was large and tastefully furnished with comfortable loveseat and armchairs, a coffee table and an endtable. Our queen bed was extremely comfortable with sheets that felt like I imagine silk sheets feel. There was a mosquito netting above the bed, but we had no need to use it.... More

We were here only for lunch. The food was super and also a great price. Birch was super nice and a great host. We didn't stay in his hotel because we were already booked in another place but he showed us one of the rooms and it was very nice! I was very impressed!

Our first word is Wonderful. This little hide away was more then we ever expected. The rooms are beautiful, large and very well appropriated. Everything a person could ask for in a hotel room. It was more like staying in a nice home away from home. We stayed at other more expensive hotels on our trip to Panama but this... More
