I was looking for a good country meal somewhere away from the bustle of the Po plain. Instead I got a well-maintained modern inn with unjustified pretensions. Yep, the buildings and grounds are very well put together and the view is nice but it's all a bit dear for what what you get. Calling this an agriturismo is a big...

One of my favorite stays from my summer 2015 vacation. Cavril is a bit hard to find and requires driving on steep, switchbacked stone roads to reach, but totally worth it for an amazing view of vineyards, rustic surroundings, and quiet relaxation with the only sounds of buzzing insects, the putt-putt of a farm vehicle, barking dogs, and the gentle...

Like the owner told, when we arrived: you are now in paradise!! Indeed it was!!! A great view over the wonderful escape of this part of Italy. We stand for 4 nights and every day was a joy. The most warm welcome and the kindness every day by Anna are unforgetable for us. A perfect room, fine breakfast and perfect...

Although a bit of the highway, still a unique location for a stopover for its magnificent view, spotless rooms (we staid in a double room w extra bed), friendly hosts.and excellent wine. Not easy getting up the hill, but doable (private road in cobblestones through the vineyard) and worth every penny.

Me and my family stayed in Cavril for one night before we continued our journey to Tuscany. It was very beautiful place with a stunning view. I'm glad that we spent our night there instead of Milan for example. I think it's the best location i've ever seen for accomodation and for people who love amazing views. Also there is...

We (a couple with a 1.5 year old baby) spent 3 great nights in Cavril in September 2014. All the words i have are superlatives: the views are breathtaking, the room is meticulously designed and furnished, beautiful and spatious bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped to serve the cooking needs of a travelling family. The staff (both sisters) is very welcoming...

My friend and I stayed for 10 days in September. The room we rented had a kitchenette which was perfect for two people. We had a private balcony overlooking the vinyard and the mountains to east which made our morning breakfast wonderful. There was an adjacent walking path which allowed you to walk in the morning and enjoy the peaceful...

We (2 adults and 2 children of the ages 5 and 2) slept in a regular room (named Ronco de Sera as one of the local wine) for 2 nights during May 2012. The room was brand new, and very clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with a closet, a table with 4 chairs, free wifi, small refrigerator and a large...
