The superior room cannot be described as Superior, difficult to access, tiny. In the eves. Dogs not made welcome. No opportunity for meals in the room. Restaurant across the road. Room heating did not work hence had to use portable electric fan heater. Location excellent.

The overall experience was great, recently decorated rooms with everything you need. Being out on the coast road from Calais it's nice and quiet with beaches that go for miles only five minutes walk from the hotel although it's a little steep walking down and back up to the car park. I have been going here for years the staff...

Together with our friends, we spent a wonderful overnight stay with you. Your welcome was as usual warm and friendly. We ate a fantastic meal in the restaurant and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his seafood platter which he always orders when we stay with you. Breakfast was delicious. We were sad to return home but look forward to our next...

This Hotel is only 10 easy miles from the Eurotunnel terminal so couldn't be more convenient for an overnight stiop. The Hotel has plenty of free parking. The rooms are not all in the same building and some require a short open air walk. Our room, No 48, was spacious, clean and well laid out. With sub zero temperatures outside...

Whenever we take a trip to the continent we make this our first booking for our journey home. Just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Cité Europe and Eurotunnel and yet a lifetime away with its peace and quiet. Escalles and its surrounding countryside feels like the south coast of England before mass tourism and development took over. The...

This was our third stay at l'Escale and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff and an ideal location for beech walks and excellent food. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing break not too far from the channel ports.

Lovely, friendly hotel, with good beds and showers....I;m sure there are baths too. A couple of good walks (beach and up the cliff (and onward to Haute Escalles)) from the hotel. Restaurant is very good.

As always very clean great breakfast and nice people. A great place for a stay in Calais. The position of this hotel is great. It offers good walks which go to the sea. Very handy for the tunnel and shopping. We have eaten in the restaurant twice now and on both occasions had good food an d good service.
