We booked a two night stay with breakfast and a seven course taster menu on the first evening. We asked for a twin room, which we had and it was clean lovely and the bathroom was excellent. The food was simply superb, the waiting staff friendly and overall couldn't find one fault. One other thing, we aRe not dog lovers...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

A group of 10 of us stayed at this fantastic little hotel, some for 2 nights and some for 1 night. We had dinner here both nights from the A La Carte menu and were all absolutely amazed at the very high quality of the food. Not one of us could find a fault with any of the 3 courses...

We went for a 2 night, short couples break. We arrived earlier than the check in time, to be greeted by warm and friendly staff who allowed us to check in early and showed us to our room. The room itself was beautifully decorated and had a real luxury feel to it! The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the room was...

Real traditional British country pub. Staff super friendly. Food good. Pub grub with many "specials" on the board. Wished we lived closer - it would certainly be our local. Right in the centre of a very pretty village. We were staying at Norton Park for a few days and decided to try a local pub for a change. Had sea...

What a lovely place to stay. We only stayed one night as our dog was ill and we had to leave early. But what we saw was lovely, you would be hard pushed to find a more dog friendly place. Welcome packs and list of walks all supplied. Quite rightly a few restrictions on access for dogs. The staff were...

A really lovely and relaxing hotel. very welcoming and extremely dog friendly. Even a small pack of treats in the room. It is a home form home hotel. Restaurant menu although slightly limited (no specials when i stayed) was acceptable. food was cooked and presented well. only down side was the cheeseboard. just too large and i love cheese. There...

We have just returned from this Country Hotel for a short break. We had a lovely room, spotless clean and very comfortable. We took our 3 Chihuahuas who also loved. If you have doggies its a paradise for them. Lots of walks along the river Taw. The food was excellent and we will be going again in the summer

We had chosen this venue.for our Christmas day lunch because it appeared to offer all the right ingredients for a memorable occasion. It certainly turned out memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. The bar area which offered character in the form of wooden beams coupled with a large open fireplace, one could conjure up the perfect setting in which...

We appreciate all feedback however negative so thank you and firstly we are really very sorry you did not enjoy your experience. Nick the owner was working on Christmas Day and had no indication from any customers that they had anything other than a great meal so it is a real shame nothing could be rectified at the time for...
