Firstly the rooms are just about ok, apart from the furniture that to be honest is falling to bits, wardrobe doors don't close. The food is just about on a par with a down market burger joint, cold sauces, steaks not cooked correctly (despite their menu claiming they are steak experts) Now to the owners who seem to have visions...

We stopped here for one evening bed & breakfast as we were attending an event close by and we must say the scenery surrounding the Red Pump Inn was spectacular - as well as rooms they also offer a Yurt experience in the grounds at the rear of the property - we will definitely be back and hope to spend...

Last minute booking for a meal in the bar area with our 2 cocker spaniels. Great welcome for us and the dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, hospitality and the food. The competition is fierce in the Ribble Valley, however if the Red Pump maintains this standard and pricing policy it should do well.

This was intended to be a walking holiday, but the rain of the Ribble Valley had us deciding otherwise, so we had to come home to the sunny North-East to walk off the wonderful food served up at the Red Pump Inn. Breakfasts here are a different kind of 'all day breakfast' - we weren't hungry again until the evening....

Fantastic room and facilities. Lovely staff. Great meal in the restaurant and a superb breakfast the next morning. Couldn't fault our stay and would certainly come again. Situated where there's a sublime view in all directions. Also has four yurts which we'd like to try in the future.

Absolutely delicious can't fault the place. Dogs allowed in bar. Selection of real ales staff very friendly. If you are in the area you should visit. They offer bed and breakfast with meal deal, which is £140 per room per night which includes £50 towards your evening meal. Steaks are £20+ but cooked exactly the way you want. Good varied...

We stayed 2 nights midweek and it was great. Lovely greeting from Christine when we arrived. Dinner both nights in the restaurant was excellent. Good choice of dishes on the menu (it's not all steak). Bed and pillows were mega comfy in the 'Garden Room'. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful. Thank you to Fran Jonathan & Team for a...

Dining with the family and finding a friendly atmosphere and a willingness to please differing requirements. Steak of good quality, salad garnish very small and chips could have been better. The fish, potatoes and spinach are excellent.
