Arrived without welcome (in fact, our taxi driver let us in via instructions from owner over the phone) and our room (#4) was infested with mosquitoes, a bit dusty and run down (eg table legs cracked and balanced 'just right' to stand up, bedding that didnt fit the beds etc). We booked a self catering, but we were placed in...

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really delicious and worth every cent. The rooms are tidy and cater for all your needs. The room is serviced daily and the area is quiet. Would recommend it for any type of travel.

What a pleasant stay. Ronelle went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and we took up residence in the self catering unit no. 4. Spacious with 3 separate rooms, main bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom with a corner bath. We stayed over for the August 2015 long weekend and with the chilly weather were snug as a bug...

I visited for an overnight stop on 05/05/2015. The reception was efficient, friendly with a good dollop of trust. I was shown my room and told to relax and enjoy. Next morning I took breakfast at seven. Simple tasty fare with not too much carbohydrates. The owner then concluded the transaction. The place is well maintained and setup as a...

In January 2015 I had to stay over in Potchefstroom for two nights for business purposes. D'Oude Molen Guesthouse was a very good choice. It is in a safe, peaceful and beautiful environment and the rooms are very clean. The owners welcomed me in a very kind way and gave me a delicious breakfast in the mornings. If you plan...

What more do you need? After hard day of grafting the friendly owners welcomed us and made our stay very comfortable. Good value for money and walking distance to campus gate. Breakfast was good, would've preferred stronger coffee but other than that very enjoyable.

This is what I would call a budget bed and breakfast. The rooms are large but rather stark with queen-size comfortable beds. There is a small fridge containing bottled water, iced tea, chocolate etc. which you can buy if you wish. Rusks, tea and coffee were provided free, but the instant coffee was Ricoffy... The bathroom attached to the room...

This guesthouse was recommended to me by a young woman whose sister was at Northwest University ... and I am so grateful for the recommendation! The proprietress and her husband could not have been kinder or more accommodating. The guesthouse itself is lovely, and the location is superb if you have any business at the university. Very reasonable, too. A...
