Kittiwake B&B was an absolute wonderful experience for our overnight stay. We stayed in the Ambrose William Suite and couldn’t have been happier. The suite was very tastefully decorated and included everything we needed and then some. If was impeccably neat and clean. John and Ruth were a wonderful duo and took great care of us. Breakfast was delicious and a special treat was Ruth’s homemade jam.
(3 choices) We would highly recommend Kittiwake. We loved it.

We have spent over 40 years traveling to many international destinations in Europe and, to a lesser extent, the USA. Our experience at John & Ruth's B & B has been just as good as or better than that of the best facilities in the most exotic locations.

We recently spent two nights at this B & B and wished that we had spent more time there. We had traveled to the area to spend some time with old friends of ours.

Of course the facility was top notch in every way, John and Ruth welcoming and accommodating, the location perfect and the weather great, much to see and do and so on. But that does not tell you what we think you need to know.

We can honestly say that John, Ruth and the B & B set the tone for our trip - a most wonderful trip in all respects. Evey morning we were welcomed by Ruth's beautiful smile, by John's friendliness, by meals that left you wanting more, by the refreshing honesty and sincerity of true ambassadors for hospitality in this small corner of the world. The conversations we had with the two were interesting, enlightening, humorous and a most important part of our experience. I can go on but you get the point.

Oft times, the best experiences are not necessarily all you see or do, but what emotions they engender and how it makes one feel inside. And remember that these individuals make all of that happen despite everything that goes on in the background to make all of this a reality.

This is why we see them them as the Dynamic Duo of Hospitality.

My husband and our son and daughter in law stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding in nearby Greenspond.
We had a wonderful stay and everything was very special. The rooms are clean, well-appointed with lovely furnishings. Ruth and John were very hospitable and accommodating. Our breakfasts were excellent and plentiful!! The home baked bread, cookies and banana bread were such nice touches and made us feel at home!
We would highly recommend staying here!

What an amazing stay in such a beautiful part of Canada. The inn had great character and a true homelike feel. John and Ruth paid a lot of attention to detail in creating a lovely atmosphere for families and couples alike. From a service perspective, John and Ruth were wonderful. They are some of the kindest people we had ever met and they were great hosts. The food was top notch and any interaction started with a smile. Would recommend this to anyone that plans on visiting the area!

Visited this beautiful B&B with my sister for some quality time. Such a beautiful relaxing environment. Ruth and John are such friendly and welcoming hosts! They made sure we had a great experience. We stayed in the suite which was very spacious and so comfy with all of the amenities you would wish for in a B&B.

The breakfast was absolutely awesome! Make sure you get the sunrise french toast....it was the best meal I've had for breakfast!! Really looking forward to staying there again in the future...hopefully for longer this time!!

Thank you Ruth & John for an incredible experience! You guys were so kind, funny and friendly. The BnB was so homey and Ruth and John made sure we had everything we needed plus more. The breakfast was amazing (and I’m gonna try to make that french toast because it was so yummy) and the hospitality was on another level. We loved staying there and would 100% recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

P.S. thank you for the late night snack of delicious apple crumble! :)

Spacious room with comfortable bed. Our suite included small fridge, microwave ave and coffee maker. Huge bathroom and own entrance was a bonus. Ruth makes the most amazing breakfast and John kept the coffee flowing and the conversation going. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Kittiwake House is the nicest B&B we've ever stayed at. Ruth and John are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area. We were in the Ambrose William suite which was huge and wonderfully decorated. Breakfasts were hot and delicious. Highly recommend if visiting the area.

We spent two nights, August 19 and 20. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautiful. We had the upstairs suite which couldn't have been better. John and Ruth are excellent hosts and the breakfasts were so delicious. Highly recommend this place.

This was my first stay in a B & B and it was a wonderful experience! When I travel,I must have a room with an ensuite, and Kittiwake fit the bill perfectly. The room had all amenities one could want. The home is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and the hosts are charming and welcoming. I had a three day stay, and I enjoyed every minute. The breakfasts were lovely with homemade bread and preserves, and a variety on each day. The afternoon tea was a treat also, with delectable choices that made decisions difficult. I highly recommend this establishment, and believe me, I will be returning!

The one that I have reviewed is a B & B in Canada. Just watch Booking com as there have been a lot of complaints recently about them.
