Spent tree nights here and was impressed by the place. It's set in a beautiful village, large scale restoration but done in harmony with the original. The room was comfortable and clean. Sheets changed daily and the breakfast was good. The owners son runs an adventure business and we were given some very helpful advice.on what to do in the...

The room had all the necessary amenities, free WiFi, Parking and free breakfast included. It is a family owned business of very kind and friendly people, who did everything to make us feel welcome and happy!

This place is worth visiting. The hospitality of Maria is something you rarely see.. The rooms are traditional and cosy and even though it's -6 outside you can control the heating so you can have it as hot as you like. The view of the mountain is breathtaking. Long story short, once you come, you won't want to leave.

Babis, Stavros and young Nicoletta could not have been more helpful or service minded. The food was the best in Papigo. We stayed at the Astra Inn but next time we will stay at their guesthouse. They freely gave all of their knowledge of the whole area and were so naturally welcoming and warm people.

Architecturally preserved rooms and home. Spacious rooms appointed with unique period decorations make you feel as time stood still from the 1800s. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from Despina . She cooks renowned chicken and mushroom pies and other delicacies of the area. The included breakfast was great with local made foods. Location was spectacular with panoramic...

She's your shadow. Go hiking, rafting, paragliding, and then, go to sleep and sleep like a baby. Have a real Greek evening at the Astraka...

Megalo Papigo (Μεγάλο Πάπιγκο) is a stone village, loved by photographer Willy Ronis who came here in the late 70's. If you like great landscapes, authentic people, are an hiker, and simply in the research of Greek legendary hospitality, you will probably be attracted by this place. All the hosts of the Astraka Guest House are great.Take the breakfast and...
