Room was big, well kept and clean. Every staff member we spoke to was helpful and friendly. Great service and accommodation!!! Within walking distance to stores and some restaurants. Great town to explore.

This is a pleasant enough inn smack in downtown Lakefield. Location is fine however the hotel must get rid of those stained filthy carpets in the rooms. None of us were willing to take off our shoes. They are that bad! They've tried to spruce up the rooms by painting and decorating and it's got a quaint appeal now. The...

My 2 sisters and I stayed here for a night. The hotel is easily accessible and has great rooms which are quite large and very clean. The beds had great quilts on them and I inquired as to where they were from. The front desk lady gladly gave me the info and directions to the place. We enjoyed our dinner...

I stayed at the Village Inn recently and I have to say that it has it all! My first experience was with extremely helpful front desk staff who helped me make my reservation. I explained that I needed to have an invoice in advance (instead of during my visit), which was no problem. Later on I called to request an...

Our second time staying this year. Friendly, clean and affordable. Good value with the breakfast. Central to everything that Lakefield has to offer. Not too many accommodation choice in Lakefield area. The Thirsty Loon (attached to the Inn)was very good for our lunch. Great over all for travel with a family. Thanks!

This place is located in the heart of the city, Lakefield, Ontario; very clean, roomy, large room with all the facilities of a brand hotel, we had an excellent experience there; you can even find a couple of antique chairs and a table also in your room; continental breakfast, included in the price was also excellent.

This is a fantastic little hotel. From the friendly front desk staff to the attractive rooms we throughly enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is that the furniture in the room might need a little attention. Some of the chairs had rips in them. This is definitely a place we will visit again.

This is our third visit to this homey little hotel. Rooms are quaint, clean and quiet. (Quilts on the beds). Good free breakfast hits the spot. Location in the heart of the village, near cafes, grocery store and good restaurants. Not far to Kawartha ski club and minutes to P'bo. Price is right too. See you again!

We had booked two rooms, they were nice rooms. One room had a balcony over looking main street. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at a small cafe called Nutts, it was very good.

We stayed overnight on Hallowe'en night since we were invited to a party in Lakefield and thought it was unwise to even think about driving home.
