This Lodge was our last 2 night stay of a 2 week self drive. Frans Indongo is 17km from the main road. A warm welcome and drink was the beginning of a great stay. We had a family room which was spacious with a separate lounge area and very close to the communal area were meals were served. What will...

We stayed for 5 nights with our young family and Frans Indongo was a highlight of a wonderful holiday. Alf and Astrid set the tone with their friendly, thoughtful and ever so helpful and efficient help and all the staff followed. Our two young children (ages 1 and 2.5) were made so welcome - a lovely cot was provided, there...

We stopped here on our way to the Caprivi. The staff were very welcoming. Lovely clean rooms and viewing deck(pity about the weather). We had a lovely dinner but arrived just after a large group and so there was no cake left for afternoon tea. Breakfast was good. Overall a lovely lodge

This lodge is a well-maintained, beautifully made-up place near Otjiwarongo (ca.28km), in which you can relax and enjoy the pool or the wildlife around you from the porch. Every pair has an own chalet with very nice interior and clean, spatious bathrooms. WiFi is available on the whole campus and game drives are offered. We were greeted very nicely by...

The lodges are well appointed, spacious and very clean. Very comfortable beds. Clean and well kept pool area, lovely views and friendly staff. We did try the walk and couldn't follow the markers either but wasn't a big deal. If you plan to visit the cheetah foundation don't trust googles indication of 30 minutes, is directing you through farmer's roads...

Nice place to rest before travelling on to Windhoek for the next flight! Rooms lovely and spacious. Staff friendly but not much flexability with the menu etc..... They were happy to change the main course (as I dont eat game) but not happy about offering an alternative to the sweet unless you wanted ice cream! Also no prices shown for...

We are regulars at Frans Indongo, this being our fifth visit over the years. The lodge has a special place in our memories for friendly management and staff and this time was no exception. Astrid and Alf were on leave but it was so nice to be recognised and welcomed by name by John and Louise as we checked in....

Sitting 17 km off the main road, this lodge is well appointed. Even though the staff apologised that we had one of the smaller rooms, it was still bigger than many other places. The bathroom had a double shower although the bed, whilst I found it good, my wife found it very firm. The dinners are a set menu so...

This was one of many amazing lodges we stayed at during a recent roadtrip around Namibia. The setting was picture perfect, with an abundance of game on the savannah that bordered to the lodge, preferably watched from the huge wooden deck. The chalets were modern and comfortable with free wifi. The dinner consisted of a set menu, with a few...

We made a 3 weeks tour through Namibia and the Frans Indogo Lodge was the best we visited: It was clean, well maintained, working WIFI, good service as well as good food. Congratulations to the management, Alf is doing a very good job!
