This place is a little gem. Great place to stay Caz and Greg great hosts and very accommodating. Had a great home cooked roast pork dinner in the tavern. Made room for our caravan. Please ring to book a spot so you won’t miss out. Free washing machines and dryers.

Stopped to stretch our legs and have a drink, clean friendly and with everything to offer. A tavern, accommodation and camping, food, snacks and some interesting information about the golden eagle nugget. Worth a stop.

A big happy welcome from Caz when we arrived with our little caravan, she assisted us every way possible to ensure we had a fabulous stay, which we certainly did... Caz whizzed up a delicious home style meal, Greg poured ice cold drinks, we shared loads of laughs & feel we have made new friends with the staff & locals of Widgie....Thank you.... Jannica & Russell

This pub is in the middle of no where, but a real nice place to stop at for a lunch or a beer. The manager was real pleasant, good menu and what we had to eat was very good and well priced. I Had a fish sandwich, which was plentiful and very tasty. Highly recommend.

A clean and super safe place to sleep for the night with kind hearted owners. The site was clean, neat and tidy when I stayed. The bathrooms were clean, showers with hot water and even a laundry room. The owner was so lovely and more than happy to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There is actual GRASS to pitch your tent and put the tent pegs in! AMAZING! (all other sites I've been to on this highway have been gravel). There are no other camp sites or roadhouses other than this one between Coolgardie and Norseman (200km), this is truly a safe haven for travellers. There's a bar in the roadhouse if you fancy a drink with friends & also cabin rooms with en suite, double rooms & single rooms for a low price. I would definitely stay here again and support this lovely family.
