5 Star First Class beyond expectations in every way. The River Rafting was beautiful, safe and so fun. Our guide Jose Luis (aka Pokis) as well as the other guides, servers and staff made our trip. They are so eager to help, always smiles and enjoying their "jobs". Was overwhelmed with the quality of the food, the chefs and servers....

My husband and I just returned from Costa Rica where we started with a week on the beach at Playa Grande and finished with 3 nights at Pacuare. It was a spectacular vacation! The ability to raft in and out from Pacuare is incredible. Do not miss the raft out! We met several people over our three nights who chose...

Amazing, wonderful, unique, in the middle of the jungle along the Pacuare river, this eco lodge is probably the most incredible place I've been to! Only 16 bungalows nestled in a luxuriant and tropical vegetation, without locks on the door, without windows (but mosquitos net) and without electricity (electricity is only available in the lobby to charge your cell phone...

We spent a week between Christmas and New Years in Costa Rica. The trip was fully arranged by Costa Rica Nature Adventures, which runs Pacuare Lodge. We spent 4 nights in La Fortuna (Arenal volcano) and then 2 nights at Pacuare Lodge, plus nights in San Jose on the way in and out. They handled all of the transfer transportation...

Just got back from a week long family trip to Costa Rica. Spent two days at Pacuare Lodge. Didn't know what to expect given that you must raft in and out, and not having any electricity in the cabins. It is first class all the way. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is outstanding -- hard to believe that...

We did a three day trip to Pacuare lodge the first week of November. While this is the rainy season, it only rained in the afternoon or evening so it did not interrupt our activities. The main advantage of this time was that it is a slow time so there were no crowds. This place has great accommodations and food...

Everything about Pacuare was above and beyond my expectations. Yes, it's a little expensive, but I thought it was completely worth the price. The guides are wonderful, friendly, helpful people, who really go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The rafting trip was so much fun, if you have the option to travel in...

My family (wife, 16 year old daughter, 12 year old son) along with some family friends (husband, wife, 16 year old daughter, 14 year old son), did a 3 day trip to the Pacuare Lodge in early December 2013. The place is magical. The rafting was a blast and our guide, Juan Carlos was fun, knowledgable, and very skillful an...

My husband and I spent two weeks in Costa Rica for our honeymoon, and Pacuare Lodge was by far our favorite stop! The adventure of rafting in and out, paired with unparalleled luxury and service gave us the perfect start to an amazing trip. Our guide, Roberto Chaves-Solano, was amazing! He was an excellent guide - very knowledgable about the...
