We found this hotel to be exactly to our taste: The location is stunning, especially the restaurant area and South Beach, Development of the island is limited, leaving much of it in its natural state, allowing birds, butterflies and other creatures to remain undisturbed, our room was comfortable and spacious with a great terrace whilst retaining a home-style feel, Frank's...

To get to this place was an adventure by itself and then when we finally got there, we thought " This can't be true". Stunning scenery, amazing hidden gem, time stops - you are in another world! Frank, the owner, is simply a great guy, funny, warm-hearted, caring and there to help in any possible way. The cabañas are beautifully...

A 40 minute water taxi gets you to a tropical jungle wilderness. There are about 5 solar powered cottages, two rooms to each. One walks golfcart paths to the main haul for dining. No run of the mill tourists here. And then there is Frank. Smart, funny, charming. Ands tries to remain in charge. Totally loved our stay there. An...

We have been lucky enough to visit 3 times. One of the loveliest beaches you will ever enjoy. Food is wonderful. Prices reasonable. Wonderful staff. Nothing fancy. Quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend. It is an adventure to get there but worth the effort!

Frank made our summer holiday one of the most memorable holidays of them all. This place is incredible. On the Island one can find several monkeys, snakes, lizards, turtles, deers and many beautiful birds. This private Island offers a couple of beaches and incredibly beautiful places to see. It is a nature lover's paradise. If you like to fall of...

If you like to get away from it all this is the place! An off the beaten track destination reached by a 20 minute water taxi ride from Boca Chica. No distractions just being present in nature. Spectacular views, beautiful secluded beaches that most of the time we had completely to ourselves (South Beach is a tropical paradise) and very...

We stayed there for 4 days upon the recommendation of a friend who has stayed there frequently. It is quite a place. The beaches are beautiful and serene, except when the wind is pushing the waves. The water is typical sandy for this area. The food, the food is outstanding. When i mentioned to friends at home that we had...

Visiting Pacific Bay Resort was one of the most unique vacations of my life. It is a nature lover's paradise...from butterflies and fireflies to monkeys and deer and many other animals. Beautiful beaches, gorgeous sunsets - plenty of places to hike. The food was some of the best I have ever had--simply spectacular. You might arrive at Pacific Bay as...

This is one of the top five hotel stays I have ever had. Frank (the owner) has worked so hard to make something so special for nature lovers and tranquility seekers in this scenic corner of the world. I recently stayed here with my mother and sister and Pacific Bay provided the perfect backdrop for us to catch up with...

Really excellent service, all the staff is amazing. The views, the animals, the night sky, the entertaining conversation made the whole stay really good. Good food and great company. The only thing missing is a newer fan or air con. Couldn't take naps inside, was hot, but the hammock outside was perfect :)
