Everything about The Farm is excellent. We stayed over Christmas and hugly enjoyed the food, the choice of wines (with advice from Tom) and the really dramatic surroundings. Highlights included a visit to the Gannet Colony, bush walks and a really comfortable room. The staff were engaged and very helpful.

This was our second time to visit this fantastic lodge. The food was excellent and the wines were as well. The room was wonderful, with beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the Canam tour....don't miss that.....seeing the birds, the ocean and the farm up close was a real highlight. The golfing is tough, but some of the vest views in the...

Thank you very much for your great review, it was lovely to have you back. You certainly saw the best of the farm with the CanAm tour, I never tire of the views this property offers no matter how often I am out there. Yes the golf course is a challenge, that's for sure! Safe travels and take care. Best...

We stayed at the Farm in January of 2017. This place is amazing! We loved it so much, we are already planning to come back. Where to start? The interior design is beautifull. It has a sense of the place, but it is modern and cosy at the same time. We loved the aesthetic throughout. Service is top notch. Our...

What a fantastic review thank you! I am so pleased you enjoyed so much of the property and the Hawke's Bay and Central North Island volcanoes. That helicopter flight over the active volcanoes is spectacular and flying on and into Craggy Range is a great way to start a wine tour. You certainly saw a lot in a day. We...

This was our second stop in NZ, our first was Huka Lodge in Taupo (spectacular!). The scenery here was beautiful and the property was splendid with vast sweeping hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This appears to be a golfers paradise with much of the accommodations centered around the sport (unfortunately I do not love golf...) The staff was nice and...

Thank you for your review. I am so pleased you got to spend some time out on the property soaking up the hiking trails and getting in some runs along with the off-road 4WD CanAm tour - great way to see it all. We do have a broad range of activities available, as 60% of our guests don't play golf...

The Farm at Cape Kidnappers offers a stunning view with nice accommodation. Unfortunately the overall service level is not as considerate as we would have expected considering the substantial price: - the hotel management didn't propose any immediate options to our comments when we have informed them about the important noise of other customers, - I was given a bike...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us Anthony. It was unfortunate that you found other guests at dinner making more noise than you expected, the Restaurant Manager did offer the option of private dining on several occasions after you mentioned this, as did I. This did seem to be the best option in the circumstances,...

This place is just an amazing 6000 acres Oasis of calm and tranquility. We arrived after a 4+ hour drive and were greeted at the car door by the lovely Margaux who asked for the keys and said the car and luggage would be 'dealt with' so we headed in for a very late lunch in the Loggia and it's...

We stayed for two nights at the Farm on a recent trip to New Zealand - what a fabulous place! Definitely Relais et Chateau standard. The Lodge itself is smart and very comfortable with various attractive public areas. There is a snug in an old grain silo at the centre of the property which is unique. The dining room runs...

Thank you for your lovely review - it is great that you got to experience so much of the Sanctuary. The Kiwi programme is certainly a highlight for mosts guests that get to experience it, the Robertsons have been great stewards of the land, their provision of this unique Sanctuary for NZ native birds is a testament to that -...

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Farm at Cape Kidnappers. This gave us plenty of time to sample all that the property and area nearby had to offer. We did not play golf, although we visited the stunning course, a golf cart was available to drive the "back nine" along the coast, absolutely beautiful. We toured the Hawkes Bay area...

The website actually undersells the location and ambience. This is Lodge-living par excellence. Perched on a gobsmacking coastal farm, the vastness and superb gardens - and golf course - add up to a stunning setting. The rooms and common areas are outstanding, coupled with first class food and wine and attentive service. The decor is US-ish but with sufficient Kiwi...

Thank you so much for your review.
