Suantrá, one of two, three bedroomed cottages, situated 3.5km.from Ballyferriter and 15km. from Dingle town, is a perfect location from which to explore the entire peninsula. The cottages look out on Sybel Head, (which featured in Star Wars), and the Atlantic ocean, and with Clogher beach only 100mts. away what more could one ask for. Right next to the beach and fabulous walks along the coast or up the mountains. Brian and Petra are very welcoming and the cottage was super clean and welcoming. Very enjoyable stay for over 6 weeks during lockdown

We stayed for four nights in the middle of a 3-week trip through the southwest of Ireland and the (Airbnb) cottage served as a great base for exploring the far edge of the Dingle Peninsula or hiking the Dingle Way. The weather was not very good in March but we got out to explore areas rather than hike the long trails. It is the most beautiful scenery you can imagine and the local area is where movies are made (Ryan's Daughter and recent Starwars). The cottage had everything we needed. WIFI was spotty for a day but was repaired while we were there and was then fine. Groceries are available in Dingle town or in Ballyferriter. This was during the pandemic but we were able to visit the pubs in Ballyferriter before things closed. There is a pay laundry but we did not use it. You do pay for electricity usage. I would stay there again on future visits.…

We stayed here in two cottages over NYE. Cottages are lovely and 5 minutes drive from the village of Ballyferriter. Beach is walking distance from the hotel, but no swimming allowed. The cottages are a short distance from everything Slea Head has to offer and 15/20 minutes from Dingle. Cottages are well equipped, with plenty of plates, cutlery & cooking utensils. The fire is a lovely cosy feature. Electricity is charged per unit on departure, we stayed 4 nights and it came in at a very low cost. Great spot for a large group or young family.
