This place is a ten minute walk from the old part of the town and restaurants. It's a winery with great wine and well decorated rooms. Breakfast offers all that you need. The wine shop sells all kind of local wines. The owner is very helpful with information about the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Rhein Valley area. Our rooms were great - very comfortable and the bathroom was huge and modern. Breakfast was outstanding with a great selection of broetchen, cheeses, meats, fruit, yogurt and more. Service was outstanding - very friendly and accommodating. The town of Eltville is lovely and there were good restaurants....

We stayed here during the annual Sekt & Biedermeier fest and were lucky to get one of the last rooms. All of the 8 rooms are named after different types of wines instead of room numbers. We stayed in the Spätburgunder room which is a small suite that sleeps 4 comfortably. Room was very clean and tidy and boasted a...

The first thing you see upon arriving at the Weingut & Gastehaus Offenstein Erben in the charming town of Eltville am Rhein is the year 1724 on the sign outside. This family owned and run hotel is the pinancle of German hospitality. It is completely contemporary in design yet has the feeling of a traditional inn. The rooms are spacious...

Stayed here on May 17, 2010. What a fantastic place!!! Located on a quiet off street in a quiet town. Stayed in the exquisite rooms. WOW!!! Try to stay in the Spatburgunger room. There is a particular type of accommodation that often goes unnoticed by travellers but once they discover its virtues then they become firm converts. Such is the guesthouse, attached to a winery which can be found in Germany. Not only can you spend a very comfortable night’s stay at such a place but also there is the opportunity to purchase...

“There is no elevator so if you have trouble with stairs choose a first floor room. Also, as there is no air conditioning, you need to have the windows open in hot weather but it was not a problem in such a small town not on a main road.”
